Star's POV

"Star?" The door shuts and I hear my name shouted. 

I bolt from my bed and head for the living room, where I run into Ian and Dallas.

"Guys!" Excitement radiates throughout my body. 

"Star, are you alright? We saw the snippets of the interview." Ian asks. 

"Oh that." I seem to recall. "Let's talk about something else." 

"Hold on. But are you all right? What happened?" Dallas questions.

"Okay okay let's sit down." I lead the way to the couch. "So, we are aware that it was an unplanned addition to the schedule, correct?" Talking with my hands, I say. "So the fucking interviewer starts changing up the questions on the spot and going way off the designated questions I had agreed to answer which they sent me."

"Why would she do that?" 

"I have no idea, she's crazy. More views? Trying to go viral? I'm not sure." I give a shrug. "But it was fucked up."

"Why do you seem totally okay about it?" Ian asks. 

"Well I wasn't." I bite my lip and play with my hands. "You know how I called you guys and you guys didn't answer." I roll my eyes in fun. 

Ian says, "Oh my bad."

Dallas continues, "Sorry."

"I ended up calling Jacob." I crack a cheeky smile. "He picked me up and we hung out."

"You seem really happy about that." Dallas's eyes enlarge.

"So what happened?" Ian asks. 

"We returned here after getting some in-n-out. I started opening up to him as we started talking." I bite my lip. "It was nice?" 

"Was it though?" Ian wrinkles his face, making me giggle.

"Guys seriously, he told me he has feelings for me." I smile and flush. "And we kissed." 

Dallas exclaims, "Oh wow."

"Definitely didn't see that coming." Ian continues.

"What?" I question.

"It's not like we didn't see you guys making out in your garden not too long ago." Ian says.

"You guys did?" I became a little timid. "Well this was different, this was really sweet." 

"Does this mean you guys are dating?" Dallas questions.

I say, "No! No."

"Good." Ian bluntly says.

"What do you mean good?" I address Ian.

"I'm joking calm down." He states.

"It doesn't seem like you are." 

"Star!" He grunts as he stands up. "It was just a joke okay I'm sorry." He gives me a hug.

"Okay." In his arms, I giggle. 

"So what does this all mean?" He asks while holding me close. "Did you tell him you have feelings for him?"

I tell them, "Um, no actually. Was that wrong of me?" 

"Well do you?" 

I start to laugh nervously. "I didn't say anything because I have so much going on right now I don't think it's a good time for me to commit to someone."

"Makes sense." Ian gives a nod. 

"Why are you guys being so dull about it?" I chuckle.

"Cause we're jealous." Dallas jokes. "I thought you were supposed to be our girlfriend?"

"You guys are too much." I laugh.

Next Morning

"I'm closing the door

Not turning back around.

I will always be lost to you; you are losing me now.

and that's just the way that it has to be. Now and forever you'll have to grieve me."

The crowd applauds after I finish my song. After leaving the stage, I'm led to my dressing room. The hosts came in to say goodbye and praised me on how lovely it was to have me while I gathered my belongings. After expressing my gratitude for their hospitality, I was led to my car.

As I take a sip of water, Kass closes the door.

"Good job, you have been doing well on these interviews." Kass compliments me.

"Thanks." I grit my teeth. "So what's next on the schedule?"

Kass was very quick to book me out for the entire week. I have a packed week ahead of me before we all leave for France.

"Before I tell you, Blaise wants you on facetime right now." She says, giving me my phone, which is already on the line with him.

"Oh shit, is he mad about everything going on?" I feel fear creep into my body.

After receiving a shrug from Kass, Blaise answers.

"Star!"

"Hey Blaise, how are you doing?" I take over with my professionalism.

"Why so formal?" He laughs.

"I- don't know." I answer tensely.
