STAR'S POV

Dallas's eyes flutter open, meeting mine. As he smiled down at me, his dark eyes felt like they were piercing my heart.

My chest floated up and down, unsure where my head was. The rush of emotions I felt was overpowering. My heart was confused.

His hand rests on my cheek as he touches my face. I give in to his touch and feel some comfort. Where do we go from here?

"I've been wanting to do that for a long time." He admits.

I wasn't sure what to say to him. Has he always seen me like this? Was he always just a friend trying to get with me? My head begins to spin.

Grabbing his hand, I lower it, "Dallas, I'm so confused."

"Your head is telling you one thing but your body is showing you different."

I have no one to talk about this with.

"I should go to bed."

"You don't have to be scared of this, of me."

While I believed him, I was terrified of everything that could go wrong.

"I would never hurt you Star."

"Dallas, I just need my friend right now." I tell him.

"Come here."

I end up wrapped in his arms, finding comfort in him.

My head lays on his chest while he gently rubs my back. I could hear his heartbeat still racing as he held me.

"Come on let's get you to bed." He says in a gentle tone.

I nodded, and as he led the way, I couldn't take my eyes off him.

His tall, slim body cast shadows on the hall walls. Everything about him seemed perfect: his dark fluffy hair, and his soft skin.

He turns back to me with a smile, as if he had read my mind. His gorgeous eyes shined with a radiance that could brighten even the darkest of days.

We make it to the master bedroom, and I tell him I need to do my nighttime routine.

Dallas is standing at the bathroom door, watching me get ready for bed.

"W-what?" I ask nervously.

"Nothing." He smiles as his attention remains fixated on me.

I put my hair up and wore a headband to keep my bangs back. But as I start washing my face, it all comes off.

"That's annoying." I spoke with a wet face and hands.

I hear Dallas chuckle as he approaches me.

"Here." He says as he fixes the headband and hands me my face towel.

I dry my face and notice him still standing in front of me, his sparkling eyes staring down at me.

Looking at him every aspect of his face become noticeable. His jawline is sharp and well-defined. I'm not sure what came over me, but my arm reached for for his jaw, gently running my fingers up and down.

He gently grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"You ready for bed?"

I nod my head as the feeling of his lips spreads throughout my body.

I climb into bed and get myself comfy.

Dallas says, "Goodnight."

"W-where are you going?" I sit up when I watch him approach the door.
