Star's POV

I played with my fingers backstage, waiting for my name to be called. I had been gone for just one week, and this was my first interview back, and it was a tell-all special. The questions being asked were likely to be challenging and intense. This was the best approach, according to Kass, to come clean and stand my ground. Payment is going to be VERY generous because we're providing them the "exclusive" as well as the first place to publish my story. Overall, that's a win for Kass.

I wore black pants and Louis Vuitton Stellar shoes with a brown backless v-neck blouse that fell elegantly off the shoulders for today's look. My hair was in loose waves, and my makeup was light and simple.

"Today's guest is a lovely young woman whose career is taking off at lightning-fast pace. As of right now, she is the only artist to have topped the charts with her own album." Says the host.

It's almost time. My hands start to get sweaty. I mentally practice the questions in the hopes that I won't say something unexpected.

I didn't have time for rehearsal because this was essentially a last-minute addition to my schedule; all I got was the questions.

A brief video that summarized my career's high points played.

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Star."

That signaled to me to go. I wave softly as I walk towards my seat as the lights followed.

I get a big hug from the host, and then we both take a seat.

The crowd applauds and cheers, while I take it all in.

"We love you Star!" I start to blush when I hear someone in the audience exclaim.

"Thank you." With shyness, I say.

"Welcome to the show it is so nice to have you here."

I say, "Thank you for having me."

"So this is a tell all from your life. "How do you feel?"

"I am feeling a lot of emotions right now, this is a lot for me but I want to share with my fans where I truly come from and what has shaped me who I am today."

"You have water in front of you my dear. Please let us know if you need anything."

Again, I thank her.

"Star, everybody knows the infamous story of how you got discovered." She starts.

I give a head nod.

"Do you ever reflect and say, "Wow?" I was at the perfect location at the right time."

"I feel like I'm in a dream world; I really am lucky. Really, there are no other words to describe it. For those who don't know, one night while I was at karaoke, the gorgeous Billie Eilish discovered me, and that's what started everything."

"Billie has excellent taste, but that is quite lucky! You're incredible."

"Billie is fantastic. I adore her dearly."

"After you got signed what was life like?"

"Well, everything changed for me after that. I had to prove myself, so I started working hard after receiving so much attention. I was extremely fortunate to be able to walk into a studio and begin recording an album. I don't even know how to describe being able to jump start like that because I am well aware that it takes artists years and years to reach the position that I started in."

"So the first album is released, and everyone adores it. Fast forward you are on a world tour. Your career is rising. You are trending. It's incredible that you attend Coachella for the first time as the main act."

"It is, truly. I am really appreciative of all the amazing opportunities I have been given every day I wake up."

"You know no one has ever gone to Coachella for the first time to perform as a headliner you are making history."

"It really is so bizarre, I swear. Without my amazing fans, none of this would be possible for me. They are the reason for everything I have, and I can't stop thinking about them every day."
