Star's POV

When I landed in Los Angeles, Lily and the car were waiting for me. 

I greet her, get in the car, and we head out. 

"I want to go see Kass." I request. "Please." 

"How was you trip?" Lily ask.

Oh dear Lily.

"Very short." 

"Did you have a good time at least?" 

"Yeah for a day." I spoke briefly and to the point. 

"Are you looking forward to the Guess campaign?"

The girl is unable to read the room.

"No Lily, no I'm not." 

"Oh." 

"I'm not trying to be an asshole." I clarify. "I was just wanted my three days in Vancouver, that's all." 

"Yeah, that makes sense. I will notify Kass when we will be arriving." 

"No, that won't be necessary." I warn her.

It's my turn to give Kass the same energy she always wants to throw at me.

I dash through the doors of the agency building as soon as we arrive. Pushing the button for the 17th floor, where Kass and my team are located, I quickly enter the elevator. 

I step out of the elevator and make my way to the front desk.

"Ms.Star, nice to see you." I hear from the receptionist. I don't recognize him, therefore it must be someone new. 

"Hi." I hurriedly say, walking right by him to Kass's office. 

Her office was a room enclosed in another room. The first one was a lobby/waiting area, while the second was her actual office. which, I must add, had incredible views. 

"Kass, I want to see my contract right now!" I firmly exclaim as I yank open the doors to her office.

I'm shocked to see Kass and Jacob alone in the same room as I go in. 

"Star." She stands up from her seat, looking alert.

"What are you doing here?" As I speak to Jacob, he gets up from his chair as well. 

Jacob says, "We're talking about the campaign."

"Without me?" I ask, confused.

"What are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you." Derailing the conversation, she says. 

"You told me that when it came to decisions, we needed to meet each other halfway, but that's not how things are working out here. Please show me my contract."

Are you still upset over this? We have already had a conversation about it."

"I don't give a fuck. I'm mad."

"Star, relax." Says Jacob.

"You have been ignoring my texts since yesterday so I don't think you're one to tell me what to do right now."

"After the Gucci project, let's talk. I'll show whatever you desire." Kass informs me.

"No, show me right now."

"Okay fine." Getting into her files, she says clearly annoyed now.

My heart continued to race, even though I was not afraid to confront anyone. 

"How was your flight?" Jacob approaches me and asks.

I turn to face him and give him a serious glare, letting him know how angry I am.
