I am that guy who wants to win most of the time, but when I lose, all my past winning feels undermined by the loss. It is a negativity bias, and I am aware of it. It is a clichéd sentiment, but it is true, and everyone must have also felt it. However, it is within our control what reaction and emotion we are going to give to our loss.
We can either learn from it or neglect it and keep up the pride. (context: basketball)
