Chloe POV

Thanks to Veldora's visit to see me in the infirmary, I was kept updated on the situation outside but either way, it was a shock.

"I knew that Rimuru-san would do anything but to go this far..." I gripped the blanket, "... I can't say that I'm surprised but I definitely am surprised."

"You and me both." Veldora shrugged, "Anyway, what happened to you? You've been on bed rest for awhile now."

"After Rimuru-san defeated Michael, I was given some skills and it combined with my <Spacetime King, Yog-Sothoth> into <Spacetime God, Yog-Sothoth>. When that happened, my body needed to grow accustomed to it but at the same time, it feels like I'm more in sync with Chronoa now." I explained

Veldora sighed with a shake of his head, "She really likes to keep us in suspense."

"But she will return, I'm sure about that." I said, clenching my fists again, "I'm already recovering smoothly so let me join you guys in fighting Ivarage."

[Don't forget about me! Even if we have a fight for a few days, we can persevere together!]

I nodded and turned back to Veldora, "I sensed something unpleasant just now but was it you that killed it?"

"Yeah." Veldora confirmed my suspicions, "It was one of those invaders, Vega, I think... His Dragon Spawn things but that one wasn't that strong so I finished it off in one blow! Kuahahaha!"

"I see. I was planning to deal with it in case it became a problem but I guess I didn't have to worry." I sighed in relief, "I can't drag Kenya and the others into this anymore."

"But won't they realize your absence if you go off to fight Ivarage?" Veldora hummed in thought

"I know but..." I trailed off, "... Better to be safe than sorry. They don't need to know about this. I want to grow with them. After all, they are still my best friends."

He grinned at me, "Rimuru would be happy to hear that."

I returned my own smile before changing the subject, "So on the topic of those two Primordial Herrschers, how are they doing?"

"Iris should be able to talk to us at any time but it would depend. As for Feiyun, she's in another world." Veldora shakes his head, "I cannot say for certain what she's up to."

"Oh..." I looked down again, "... I feel a little bad for them. To need to help the world to this extent..."

"Rimuru entrusted her 'Origin' with them so the only thing we can do is keep believing that they will be okay. What we can do now is keep those pillars safe when the time comes." Veldora said

"Yeah."

"Still..." Veldora cups a hand under his chin, "... I wonder why Rimuru decided to fake her loss. Was there really something at the end of time and space?"

I sighed under my breath, "I can never understand her thinking so I wouldn't know either."

"Well, that goes for both of us." Veldora sighed

"Will a meeting be held soon?" I asked

Veldora shrugged, "That would be up to Benimaru and the others. They will tell me if there was but everyone is currently scrambling to get their forces ready for now."

"There will most likely be a meeting held sooner or later. Maybe in another day or two." I muttered in thought, "Or maybe there won't be if Feldway releases the Angels beforehand..."

"Or if the cryptids start swarming out first." Veldora grumbled with a small frown, "There are too many possibilities but Iris is keeping a close eye on that."
