Third Person POV

Theresa slammed her hands on the meeting table as soon as she heard the news.

"What do you mean?!" Theresa exclaimed, "She's in a coma?!"

Kondou grunted with a weary look in his eyes, "We underestimated the concept of time. Since she activated the Authority in the Cardinal World, we thought that she wouldn't be as affected by its strain but it seems like we were wrong. Because time passes faster in this world, the strain she carried was amplified."

<I... I didn't put this into my calculations. I apologize. It was my oversight that caused this.>

"Don't blame yourself, Iris. You had enough on your plate as it is. You couldn't have been able to keep an eye on Feiyun's condition with what you were doing." Mei tried to comfort her, "What we should be discussing right now is a method to awaken her from that state. Do you have any idea on how we can do that?"

<That... It happened to Lady Rimuru once.>

Mei nods, "I remember being told that."

<Yes. The strain had put her into a state of sleep that lasted for ten hours. But it had only been from a momentary use of the Authority but I'm not sure about the timeframe if the Authority had been kept active for days... It's a miracle that Feiyun's pillar is still standing.>

"Which means that she's probably still conscious somewhere somehow. You can't maintain a power like that without it." Senti concluded

<That may be one reason.>

"Can you try waking her consciousness then?" Bronya asks, eyeing Senti, "You're the only one who can control anything related to the aspects of the mind in this room."

<And... this might be risky but there's something called the <<Soul Corridor>>. She has it with someone from our side other than Lady Rimuru. It's said that if a thought is pushed into it hard enough, it might wake the consciousness.>

"But why is it a risk?" Fu Hua asks, not noticing Kondou's small shiver

<Uh... Well, the risk is... Don't worry about it. I'll do something about it.>

"Okay...?"

[Hua, Herrscher of Sentience.]

Fu Hua flinched slightly at the sudden communication and turned to Senti, who returned a small nod to her.

[Sorry but can I speak to you two privately? Away from Vita's detection, if possible.]

Fu Hua and Senti shared another look before she responded, "Okay."

Senti suddenly stands from her seat with a small stretch, "We'll be back in a bit."

Fu Hua stands as well, giving the others her apologies before hurrying out of the meeting room with Senti. The two found a secluded area far from the meeting room as the Seed of Sumeru appeared between them.

"What is it that you want to talk about, Su?" Fu Hua asks

[I will make this quick but I want to try helping that girl. However, that will require the Herrscher of Sentience's cooperation.]

Senti sighs, "I already planned to give it a try anyway. There was gonna be a likely chance that I would fail though. So let's hear it. What's your plan?"

[If I am correct, the <Soul Corridor> might be what connects two souls together like a sort of tight knot, so if the person on the other side of Feiyun's <Soul Corridor> is being made aware of her condition, then they will make a move to wake her. All we can do now is give our assistance.]
