Third Person POV
Now that the fight with Angels was over, Griseo and the others were teleported back to the labyrinth by Iris to rest and regain their strength. For Griseo, after using the power Rimuru gave her, she was especially tired and had turned back into her original child form and slept. Hearing the news of their victory, other people began moving to reinforce the defense in the labyrinth.
"It won't be long now." Iris told the labyrinth group in a holographic form, "I can sense the changes with the damaged 'Gate' and I would estimate that it would take another hour or so before the cryptids would emerge."
"So it's almost time for us to head out." Shion said with a pumped fist, "Leave it to me!"
Iris nods, "Please stick to the plan and protect the entries. Also, I have already asked for the Holy Knights to be deployed as well. Hinata will be going around to these four entries as an all-rounder. If there is any danger, she will head over immediately."
"Just leave those entry points to us!" Carrera huffed confidently, "We won't let those cryptids take a step forward!"
"Indeed." Testarossa agreed with a nod, "We need those human nations to survive if we want Rimuru-sama's wish to come true."
Ultima perked up from her boredom after hearing that, "Oh, that's right. She wanted peace with humans so we have to keep them alive."
"Just do whatever you can to a certain extent." Iris said with a nod, "The True Dragons will be going around the world to keep it stable and lessen the burden on Feiyun, who must still be facing Feldway. I have no problem but that girl cannot fall. But at the same time, this labyrinth cannot fall either. Bella."
The girl straightens up once her name is called, "Yes?"
"All of the monsters in the labyrinth have been recalled. Let the Honkai Beasts go as wild as they want." Iris instructed, "The remaining forces from Tempest that I never named will also be joining in the nation's defense line."
Geld nods, "Leave it to us. Even though we cannot fight in the frontline, we will still fight to protect Tempest."
"That's right!" Gabiru puffed his chest out, "Leave it to us!"
"The Labyrinth Lords will not stay quiet either." Apito declared with a smile, "There is no way we will lose to mere cryptids."
"My undead army is recovered and ready!" Adalman added, "This is all for our God!"
"That is correct. We have our God's blessings." Zegion said with confidence in his tone, "We shall protect this place with our lives."
"""Yeah!"""
Iris sighed inwardly, "I never told you to put your lives on the line but whatever."
"Don't worry about us, Iris-chan." Elle assured her with a smile, "Everyone is raring to go and I will make sure they don't push themselves!"
"Thank you, Elle."
Iris returned to the dimension where she has stayed for the past two days, already adapted to the system the Voice of the World used. It was unfortunate that she couldn't access Feldway's skill since she didn't gain his approval, and she doubted he would if he knew where she was. More than that...
"I hope Feiyun is doing well. It's been three hours now..." Iris muttered under her breath, "... I could always check up on her but..."
<Report. Unusual fluctuation from the broken 'Gate' detected.>
Iris frowned at the timing, "... I knew I wouldn't have the time anyway..."
She sighed and focused on communicating to all the fighting forces, "This is a report to all fighters. The cryptids have begun their emergence. Prepare for battle."
