Mercedes and Colby fell asleep cuddled together after an eventful night. That moment had been building for a while, finally coming to a halt. They were unsure of what would come out of it, but needed to figure it out.

"Good morning, you okay?" Colby asked, seeing Mercedes begin to wake up and looking over at him.

"Yeah, just need to shower. Care if I borrow some of your clothes? Don't know where mine ended up from last night." She said, blushing heavily as Colby smirked.

"Go for it, pick out whatever's gonna be comfortable." He winked, watching her get up from his bed, bare body as Mercedes continued to remember what happened last night. She silently laughed to herself and headed to his bathroom.

While she went to the bathroom, Colby got up and found himself some clean clothes. During her shower, Colby knew he needed to tell Mercedes how he felt. He'd be damned to let her feel like a one night stand. He's never felt this way about anyone before. Not even Natalie and he had a daughter with her. However, things went sour after she got pregnant with Hayley. He hoped things would turn out for the better with Mercedes.

Colby snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Mercedes step out of the shower and get dressed. He got his words and thoughts together, seeing her step out of the bathroom dressed in one of his shirts and sweatpants. Her pink hair was down and went down past her back, glasses pressed to her face but she looked rested and exhausted at the same time.

"You look cute." He smiled, seeing her give off a laugh and smile back.

"Thanks, if only I'd felt cute. I drank way too much last night." She groaned, sitting back on his bed with him.

"I don't think I've seen you drink that much ever." He chuckled, knowing he needed to stop procrastinating and tell Mercedes what he wanted to tell her.

"Mercedes, how would you feel going on a date?" He blurted out, seeing her blush and smile wide as she was last night.

"You wanna take me on a date?" She asked with a bright smile, pressing her glasses to her face.

"I would. I'd love to take you out. I don't want you to feel like a one night stand, because that's not what you are to me. You're more than that to me. I'd, I'd love to take you out this morning... if you'd like?" He asked, feeling like a teenager in high school asking out his crush while stumbling over his words.

"Colby, I'd love to go on a date with you. But can we just order breakfast and have it delivered? I have a nasty hangover and would love to just relax and enjoy a day off with you." She asked as the thought relieved Colby more to have her to himself in the peace of his own home.

"That sounds perfect. Whatever you want, Mercedes. Is there anything else you'd like?" He asked, wanting to do whatever she wanted.

"No, just having you." She quietly said, leaning over to hug him as Colby had never felt happier to be right where he was right now.
