Two Months Later

"Hayley Jade! Hi sweet baby!" Mercedes beamed as she picked up eleven month old Hayley and kissed her cheek. The eleven month old had a happy smile on her face seeing Mercedes, making Colby grin as well.

"Is someone happy to see Mercedes?" Colby chuckled, kissing Hayley's other cheek and kissing his girlfriend.

"Is everything that you had left out in the car?" He asked, referring to his girlfriend's car.

"Yep. Mostly just little decorations and any leftover clothes. Since I've slowly been moving in." She giggled as Colby playfully shook his head before making his way back out to Mercedes' car.

Now that the two have been together for nearly six months, Mercedes and Colby made the decision for her to move in with him and Hayley, leaving her apartment in Orlando. The two worked well together in a relationship. Mercedes loved Hayley and Hayley loved her. Colby was thankful Hayley had someone great like Mercedes to look up to in her life.

Everything blew over with Natalie over the previous months. She was super inconsistent in her daughter's life, but that made Colby more grateful for Mercedes. She loved Hayley like her own and that's all he could ask for. He knew everything would go well with her permanently living with the two in Davenport, Iowa as well as traveling together on the road full time.

"Alright, that's everything baby." Colby said after unloading her car and taking it upstairs to what would now be their bedroom.

"Yay!" Mercedes grinned as baby Hayley clapped her hands, making both of them laugh.

"Welcome home, baby doll. We're very happy to have you with us." He beamed, lovingly kissing his girlfriend while helping her get settled into the house permanently.
