Ten Months Later

"God, I'm so nervous for tonight." Mercedes breathed out, sipping on her coffee while walking around the arena with Colby.

Ten months had passed and things were going great for Mercedes and Colby, along with Hayley. Their relationship was stronger than ever and Hayley was nearly two years old. They were all doing great and continued on with their careers as WWE Superstars.

Tonight was a huge night for Mercedes and Colby. It was a huge night overall for the WWE Superstars, especially tonight for the women. Tonight was the first ever WWE Women's Royal Rumble match and the women were going to main event for the first time. The guys were extremely proud of them and the girls were excited and emotional for the opportunity at hand.

Mercedes and Colby were also scheduled to win their respective Royal Rumble matches. Sasha Banks would be the winner of the very first women's Royal Rumble match. Seth Rollins would win for the men's, going on to challenge the champion of his choosing at WrestleMania 34. Sasha Banks would get to choose the champion of her choice to face off against at WrestleMania.

"Baby, you got this!! Making history and changing the game is in your blood. You've been doing it and you'll continue to do this. You're one of the best, Mercedes. I'll be here cheering you on through the whole thing. I love you and know you got this in the bag." Colby assured her before lovingly kissing her and holding her close.

"I love you Colby, thank you." She smiled after their kiss, grateful for his assuring words and showing of appreciation for her.

"You're welcome baby. I know you got this. Now go get ready, boss." He winked before smacking her ass as she was going to go to the hair and makeup department. She laughed and playfully rolled her eyes, heading to where she needed to go.

Mercedes went to the hair and makeup department to get ready for the women's Royal Rumble match as the main event tonight. She began watching some of the kickoff show and beginning matches while getting ready. Once her hair and makeup was done, she went back to the women's locker room to put on her gear for the night. It was inspired by Wonder Woman.

"You look incredible, sister!" Ashley grinned as she hugged Mercedes. Charlotte Flair would not be competing tonight in the Royal Rumble, given she was the current SmackDown Women's Champion.

"Thanks, Ash! I'll see you at ringside. I gotta go watch my man." Mercedes said all bubbly and giggly, making Ashley laugh too. The two hugged before Mercedes headed to gorilla so she could watch and wait for Colby after his match.

One hour later...

"Here is your winner of the 2018 men's Royal Rumble match! Seth Rollins!" Jojo Offerman announced at ringside as the fireworks and pyro went off for Seth Rollins. After nearly forty five minutes in the match, Seth could call himself a Royal Rumble winner.

"There's your man, bestie!" Pam grinned as she hugged Mercedes who was grinning ear to ear for her boyfriend after his hard fought victory.

"I'm so proud of him!" She grinned before seeing Colby come backstage. She waited as he shook hands with everyone, then grinning as he saw his girlfriend.

"I love you so much, Mercedes. Couldn't have done this without you." He quietly said in her ear as he was emotional now that one of his dreams had come true within his wrestling career.

"I love you, Colby! I'm so proud of you. You deserve it babe." She smiled as the two lovingly kissed and then she kissed his cheek.

The two celebrated for a few minutes before Mercedes began getting her head in the game. She would be entering the women's Royal Rumble match at the number one spot and would have to go until the end. She believed in herself, so she just needed to make it happen for herself and her career.

Later that night...

"Here is your winner of the first ever women's Royal Rumble match, the winner for 2018, Sasha Banks!" JoJo said as Sasha Banks was the lone survivor in the first ever women's Royal Rumble match. She spent nearly an hour in the match and came out victorious. She was now on the road to WrestleMania.

Mercedes fought back her tears while in the ring. She mostly kept herself composed shaking hands with her bosses and hugging the girls. It wasn't until she saw Colby that she got emotional, happily hugging her lover.

"We did it!" Mercedes beamed through her tears while hugging her boyfriend.

"Sasha Banks and Seth Rollins are going to Mania, baby! I love you sweetheart, I'm so proud of you." He grinned, kissing the top of her head.

"I love you babe! We're going to WrestleMania!" She squealed as the two celebrated a highly victorious night, leading into WrestleMania season.
