A few weeks after Hayley's fourth birthday was WrestleMania. Mercedes and Colby enjoyed their time in Tampa, Florida with their family. They ended up staying for the rest of the week, but drove to Orlando, Florida so they could take Hayley to DisneyWorld. Now that she was old enough, they enjoyed taking her when they could.

It was Wednesday evening, three days after WrestleMania. Colby was getting Hayley to bed while Mercedes was tidying up the kitchen in the Air BnB they were staying at in Orlando. She was emotional while cleaning the kitchen, feeling so many emotions at once.

Mercedes competed at WrestleMania in a fatal four way match for the Raw Women's Championship. Sasha Banks was unsuccessful in regaining the championship, but Mercedes' head was not in the game. She delivered a good match for WrestleMania. But so many other things were crowding in her mind. They were consistent in her mind, especially tonight which was causing her to get emotional.

"Hayley's in- hey, what's wrong baby?" Colby asked, stopping mid sentence as he saw his wife emotional while staring at the night sky outside through the windows.

"I just have a lot going through my mind." Mercedes admitted, crying a bit more as Colby closed the distance and held her tight.

"Do you want to come sit on the couch and talk about it? Or we can go out on the patio. I'm here baby, I'm here." He comforted her, kissing the top of her head.

"Let's go to the couch, it's just a lot." She sniffled, wiping away some tears. Colby led her to the couch and made sure she was comfortable. He grabbed her some water and handed it to her. After a few moments, she calmed down and began to open up to her husband.

"I... I don't think I wanna do this anymore. I don't want to wrestle anymore." She admitted, biting her lip and wiping away her tears.

"Did something happen, sweetheart?" He asked, rubbing her hand with thumb to show a sign of comfort.

"I.. I don't know. My mind and my heart are just in a different place than wrestling. Friday's our one year wedding anniversary but we've been together nearly four years." She began, taking a deep breath after getting some water. Colby nodded his head and let her take her time.

"I'm just feeling burned out and I just don't want to be a wrestler anymore. I don't want to be Sasha Banks anymore. I just want to be Mercedes Lopez. I just want to be a wife and a mom, I want us to have more babies and I want to enjoy that journey together with Hayley. I just feel done wrestling." She opened up as Colby sympathetically smiled at her, holding her close and kissing the top of her head.

"Mercedes, you want to have more babies together?" He asked as she nodded her head.

"I feel like I'm longing to be a mother. Of course I'm a mother to Hayley, but longing to be pregnant and have a baby together with you. I just want to be a mother and a wife. I'm just over the Superstar mega life. Things are changing and I'm ready to take that step back." She revealed as Colby smiled and lovingly kissed her.

"Mercedes, I would love for us to continue and grow our family. I'm so glad you told me about this. You know I support you in whatever you want to do. If you want to take a step back and be a mother and a wife, that's great. I'm here for you and I love you. Whatever you wanna do baby, whatever you wanna do." He assured her, holding her tightly and kissing the top of her head.

"I love you, Colby. I just want to expand our family and be a mama and a wife." She said, looking up at her husband.

"I love you too, Mercedes. I would be more than happy to expand our family together. Whatever you want, baby doll. I support you." He promised, kissing her cheek as the two would now navigate a new journey together and a new chapter together for their marriage and family.
