The next night was Monday Night Raw. They were still in Los Angeles, California. Tonight, they were at the Staples Center for Monday Night Raw. Tonight, everything that happened at SummerSlam would be hashed out and some storylines would continue as others would fade out.

To kick off Monday Night Raw, Sasha Banks would be addressing the previous night and now officially confirming her retirement from in ring competition. Paul, Vince, and Stephanie felt that was the best way to go about it and Mercedes was ready to give her final goodbye to the WWE Universe before settling into a more relaxed home life and environment.

"I love you so much, Mercedes. You got this and we'll be right here for you when you get back."
Colby said as he had Hayley backstage in gorilla as Mercedes was about to make her final entrance to address the WWE Universe.

"I love you, Colby. I'll see you soon." Mercedes replied, the two sharing a quick kiss before her entrance music hit.

Sasha Banks' entrance music hit moments later. Mercedes walked out in a black jumpsuit with a white leather jacket, nude heels. It was a more professional look compared to her hundreds and probably thousands of looks she wore as "The Boss" persona. She embraced the warmth of the crowd as she made her entrance, grabbing a microphone from the ringside crew and headed into the squared circle.

"Thank you guys for all the love tonight! Welcome to Monday Night Raw!" Mercedes smiled as the crowd popped for her. She wanted to show more of her real persona, less of the Sasha Banks character that the fans have grown to love over nearly a decade.

"Tonight is going to be a great night filled with everything that happened at SummerSlam and we all get to see who's going in what direction now. But, as you guys know, at SummerSlam I lost the Raw Women's Championship fatal four way match." She continued as the crowd quieted down and listened to her attentively.

"And as you guys will now know, last night was my final match as an active in ring competitor for WWE." Mercedes dropped the bombshell as the crowd roared but also in shock and disbelief. This was not something they saw coming for a bit.

"You guys, I know you're upset but I promise that this is for the best. I have loved every moment of being Sasha Banks for you guys for the last nearly ten years," She added as the crowd cheered for her on that comment.

"But as you guys know, I am married to your new Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins!" She grinned as the crowd roared for him.

"My heart has changed and shifted ways since we got married. And my heart is not in this ring anymore. There's other things I want to do in my life, so it is the right call for me to say goodbye." She explained without getting too personal. She felt herself getting emotional as the crowd rose to their feet and loudly cheered and applauded their beloved women's Superstar.

"Thank you Sasha! Thank you Sasha! Thank you Sasha!" They all loudly shouted on their feet as Mercedes was a bit emotional, grinning and showing off her appreciation for the crowd.

"Thank you guys. You have no idea how much I love each and every one of you! You guys made my ten year old self's dream come true and I am forever grateful to have the wonderful fan base I do. Thank you guys for everything, I deeply appreciate everything! Thank you for letting me be Sasha Banks for you, so now I can go home and be Mercedes Lopez." She grinned, wiping away some of her tears as she laid down her signature sunglasses, necklace, and rings in the middle of the ring.

Mercedes stepped out of the ring and walked up the ramp. She bowed down and thanked the fans once more, waving off as she left Monday Night Raw emotional but happy with her decision. She knew in her heart that she was more than ready to be a mother and a wife full time. That feeling was met even more as Hayley ran towards her and Colby came up to greet her after her promo.

"I love you so much honey, you're amazing." Colby said as he held Mercedes and Hayley close to him as Hayley was holding her stepmother's hand.

"I love you babe, ready to do this?" She asked, sniffling and wiping away her tears.

"As long as it's with you, my love." He winked, making her feel better after an emotionally tolling night. However, now they could focus on the next chapter together.
