"Hayley Jade, we gotta wake up sweet girl. Do you want to come sit with me while I get my hair and makeup done?" Mercedes asked her stepdaughter, four days later in the morning.

"Mhm." She mumbled as Mercedes carefully scooped up the three year old and held her close.

"It's wedding day!" Pam grinned as she came back with coffee for the girls.

"It's finally here!" Mercedes beamed, thanking Pam for getting the coffee as she took a sip while holding Hayley with her free arm.

It was Thursday morning in Phoenix, Arizona. It was the day that Mercedes and Colby were going to tie the knot. The soon to be newlyweds were excited and emotional now that the day was here. They were also thankful for the perfect weather as they were having an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. The day was just beginning, but it was sure to be filled with love and joy.

They were more than ready to finally tie the knot and be married to one another. Even though they were having a destination wedding in Phoenix, Mercedes and Colby decided to keep their wedding on the smaller size. They had fifty guests total, which included the wedding party. Mercedes had Pam as her maid of honor. She had Rebecca and Ashley as bridesmaids and little Hayley was going to be the flower girl.

Colby only had three people for his groomsmen as well. He had Jon as his best man. He also had Joe and Fergal as his groomsmen. Mercedes and Colby wanted a small, private, intimate wedding and that's exactly what they were having. They also chose to do navy blue and baby pink for their wedding colors, to go along with the spring wedding they were having.

"You're going to be the most beautiful bride, sweetie. We are so happy for you, Colby, and Hayley." Holly said as she came up to hug her daughter in law. Mercedes thanked her while holding Hayley, getting her hair and makeup done for the wedding.

"Ready for the ceremony?" Joe asked as the guys went to get breakfast together before they'd have to get ready for Colby and Mercedes' wedding ceremony and reception.

"More than ready. I'm so grateful to have Mercedes as my wife and Hayley has her as a mother figure. She saved our lives, man. I have no idea where I'd be without her." Colby admitted, looking at the guys as they had smiles on their faces. 

"We're very happy for the three of you, man. Today is going to be a wonderful day for the both of you." Jon said as Fergal and Joe both agreed.

Later that day, guests were gathering in to the venue where they were having the wedding ceremony at. Mercedes, her bridesmaids, and little Hayley were ready to go. Colby and his groomsmen were ready to go too. Mercedes was already fighting back the tears as she left the bridal suite and watched the girls walk down as they looked beautiful in their baby pink dresses, Hayley having a matching one as well.

Mercedes was in her wedding dress as she's never felt more beautiful and confident in her life. She had her hair in a low bun with a light makeup look on, feeling gorgeous as the bride. She walked down the steps carefully and met with Bob, Colby's stepdad. He was walking her down the aisle as Mercedes had no relationship with her father. She hasn't had one with him since she was two years old.

"You look beautiful, sweetheart." Bob said as he found himself emotional while looking at his daughter in law ready to marry his son.

"Thank you, dad. I love you and I'm so grateful to have you guys in my life as my family." Mercedes smiled as the two hugged and Bob was choking on his tears a bit.

"We love you, sweetheart. Trust me, we're the lucky ones. Let's go get you and Colby married." He said, kissing her cheek as they got ready to walk down the aisle together.

The two stood arm in arm as the bridal's music began and everyone stood up. Mercedes and Bob walked out together as Colby began getting emotional seeing his wife for the first time as a bride. She was emotional as well, seeing Colby and Hayley. That was her family and that's what mattered most to her. Colby and Bob shared a sweet moment as they had Hayley sit with him and Holly for the wedding ceremony to begin. Mercedes began with her vows first.

"Colby, I am so lucky to stand here today as your wife. When I first met you back in FCW in twenty-twelve, my little twenty year old self would not have thought I'd be standing here as your wife. But here we are and I'm so thankful." She began, looking at her husband with love in her eyes.

"Our journey is one that I never thought I'd experience but I'm so thankful that I did. You've been there for me when I was at my lowest and felt like I had no one. You made sure I was never alone or unloved. You are the sunshine after a dark, dark storm. There's no one else in this world that gets me the way you do." She said as Mercedes found herself getting emotional.

"You are my rock, my cheerleader, my best friend and confidant. You always know just what to do when things are going south and you always bring the light back around. You and Hayley are the best things to ever happen to me. I never thought this would be my life, but there's nothing that could happen to ever take this love away I have for you and Hayley. You are both the loves of my life and I cannot wait to see where our journey takes us next. Colby Daniel, I am honored to be your wife. I love you today, tomorrow, and always." Mercedes said as they were both emotional hearing her vows. Colby had to take a minute to clear his throat before he would begin his vows.

"Mercedes Justine, my beautiful wife. I don't know what you possess in your presence to sucker me in, but I'm so grateful you did. You saved my life and you saved Hayley's. We are forever grateful for you." Colby began, grinning at his wife and trying to fight back the tears.

"I'd never found myself to be too much of a lover boy or a romantic kind of guy, but some how some way, you changed that for me and now I'm the happiest I've ever been. No matter what, you were always there for me even when we were not together. You always checked on me and Hayley, making sure we were okay. You are the most selfless, loving, kindhearted, beautiful person I've ever had the pleasure of coming into contact with. Now, I get the privilege and prideful feeling of calling you my wife." He said, wiping away a few of his tears.

"You say that I'm the light of your life, but it's hard to counteract that when you've done so much for me and my daughter. I'm the lucky one to get to love you forever and I'm so thankful Hayley has a wonderful woman to look up to in her life and know what it's like to have a loving mother and family. I can't wait to see where our journey takes us. I love you Mercedes. Thank you for saving us." He said as his voice cracked a bit at the end of saying his vows.

The two also chose to incorporate a sand ceremony towards the end, taking both sands and combining it into one vase. Afterwards, they slid the rings on each other's fingers. They were then pronounced husband and wife. Everyone cheered as the two shared a loving, passionate kiss now that Mercedes and Colby tied the knot and were officially Mr and Mrs Lopez.

"I love you, Colby!" Mercedes grinned as the two shared another loving kiss. They were waiting on the photographer now that the ceremony was done.

"I love you, Mercedes! My beautiful, beautiful wife." Colby grinned once they let go of their kiss. They turned around to see Holly and Bob bringing Hayley to them as she wanted to be with them and the newlyweds wanted to take photos with their daughter.

"Hayley Jade! There's my girl." Colby grinned as he took the three year old in his arms and kissed her cheek.

"Hi daddy!" Hayley beamed as she hugged her father tightly.

"We love you so much, princess." Mercedes said, kissing Hayley's cheek as they shared a group hug.

"I love you!" Hayley beamed as the three year old was happy at her parents' wedding and Mercedes and Colby were over the moon filled with joy to begin this next journey together as a family.
