Two weeks after Raw, Mercedes, Colby, and Hayley were back home in Davenport, Iowa. The two were helping Hayley with being with other people without feeling like Mercedes and Colby weren't going to come back. They also had an appointment with her pediatrician, finding out that she was most likely dealing with some separation anxiety any time Mercedes and Colby needed to do work. It was going to be a work in progress, but they were being as patient and kind with her as possible.

Today was a happier day for the two as Mercedes was going wedding dress shopping. She and Colby set a date for the following April right after WrestleMania 35. They did not want to be engaged super long as they knew they were it for one another. The next big thing was for her to get her wedding dress, so she was hoping to find the one today.

She was taking Hayley with her. She was also having Holly, Pam, Rebecca, and Ashley there to help her pick out the one. Mercedes was not close to her mother and they haven't been since she was seventeen years old. So, it was safe to say Mercedes was relieved to have the love and support of her future mother in law with her as she picked out her wedding dress.

"Alright baby girl, let's get inside and go shopping!" Mercedes beamed after getting Hayley out of her car seat and holding the two year old tight.

"Shopping!" Hayley giggled as Mercedes held on to her tightly.

"Yes sweet girl, let's go find me a dress for daddy and I's wedding." She smiled, heading inside where Holly, Rebecca, Pam, and Ashley were standing.

"What style are you looking for, sweetie?" Holly asked as they were looking through racks of wedding dresses for Mercedes.

"I know I want a slim wedding dress, either mermaid or fit in flare. And not long sleeves since it's a spring wedding in Arizona." She laughed, revealing the state that she and Colby were getting married in since they fell in love with a venue location there.

"I got you dude." Pam added in, making them laugh a bit while helping the bride to be.

After what seemed like forever with picking out wedding dresses, Mercedes ended up with a top ten of all different styles and fits to keep her options open. A few of them she automatically knew they were not her style. They trimmed it down until she was down to the top two. The last dress she put on, Mercedes immediately fell in love with and had a gut feeling it was the wedding dress for her.

"Oh my gosh!" The girls squealed as they saw Mercedes walk out in the final wedding dress she had picked out.

"Pretty!" Hayley smiled while looking at her stepmom.

"You like it baby?" Mercedes grinned as she turned around and faced everyone, but looking at the two year old who was smiling ear to ear while sitting with her nana.

"Yeah!" She smiled as everyone looked at Mercedes in awe.

The dress was gorgeous. It was a beautiful, snowy white color. It was mermaid fit with spaghetti straps and an open v-neck line. It was floral and lace throughout the whole dress. Mercedes felt and looked incredible in the dress and it definitely fit her like a glove. She did not feel as confident in the other dresses compared to this final one.

"I think this is the dress!" Mercedes beamed while looking at her three best friends, stepdaughter, and future mother in law.

"You look gorgeous, Mercedes. It definitely looks like the dress for you." Rebecca grinned as did the other girls and they were emotional seeing Mercedes in her wedding dress.

"You look beautiful, sweetie. My son is sure lucky to be marrying you." Holly winked as Mercedes decided on her wedding dress. It was another fun moment in the books, leading up to her and Colby's anticipated wedding.
