"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday Hayley! Happy birthday to you!" Mercedes and Colby sang to now two year old Hayley as they walked into her bedroom as she was awake.
It had been a little over two months since Colby told his parents that he was going to propose to Mercedes. The three were doing well but still staying busy especially with WrestleMania three weeks away in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sasha Banks was going to face Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship. Seth Rollins was going to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
Even with WrestleMania three weeks away, Mercedes and Colby were enjoying the down time they had in between the chaos that came with WrestleMania. They were specifically going to enjoy today as it was Hayley's second birthday. They were doing a small birthday party and dinner at their home with family. Colby was even trying to keep the peace and invited Natalie as she asked to do a joint birthday party for their two year old daughter.
"Thank you!" Hayley giggled, reaching for Colby and Mercedes to get her out of her crib.
"We love you so much, Hayley Jade!" Mercedes grinned, kissing the two year old's cheek.
"Happy birthday baby girl. Mercedes and I love you." Colby smiled as the three were hugging in Hayley's room.
"Love you!" Hayley giggled as the three headed downstairs to enjoy some breakfast before the party and dinner would happen later. As the three ate breakfast, Colby heard his phone go off to see it was a text message from Hayley's mother.
Natalie: I'm not coming today. I have better things to do.
Colby shook his head. He looked up to his girlfriend and daughter laughing while they ate breakfast together. He was grateful that Hayley had Mercedes and would not let Natalie's no show affect his day with his girls. It was about Hayley and Natalie was the one missing out.
