Two days after the Royal Rumble, Mercedes and Colby, along with little Hayley, returned home. The three were relieved to be home after the Royal Rumble as Mercedes and Colby were now preparing for the upcoming WrestleMania season. However, there was something else Colby was preparing for with Mercedes.
Since the three were home in Davenport, Mercedes wanted to get some one on one time with Hayley while they had her. Mercedes and Hayley were going to spend the morning together. Colby was headed to his parents' home as they had some stuff for Hayley that Colby was going to pick up and talk to his mom and stepdad.
"Thank you for the stuff for Hayley." Colby smiled, hugging his mom and stepdad.
"You're welcome sweetie. We know she'll love it. Now, what did you wanna talk to us about? You mentioned something about a conversation earlier when we texted?" Holly asked as the three were standing in the kitchen.
"Yeah, everything going alright son?" Bob asked as he handed Colby a bottle of water.
"Everything is great, couldn't be better! I just wanted you both to know that I am planning on proposing to Mercedes soon. I just bought the ring the other day, now waiting on all the customizations and sizing on it." Colby grinned ear to ear like a kid in a candy store. Holly gasped with excitement as Bob grinned too.
"Oh my gosh, Colby Daniel! That is incredible. We know she will say yes." Holly beamed as she was emotional at the revelation her son just said.
"That's amazing, son. And hey, we finally get a daughter, honey!" Bob chuckled, making both Colby and Holly laugh.
"Yes we will! It will be great. We can't wait for the two of you." Holly grinned, hugging her son as now Colby had to plan the proposal perfectly.
