Morgana awoke in a dark space, cramped and wet. Fighting to open her eyes, she reached out and felt the hand of another within this small space. 'where am I?' she wondered. The last thing she remembered, was her brother dearest Merlin, as he chanted in the Old Religion, placing her soul within a crystal from the sacred cave.

Was she already being reborn? Had Merlin truly managed it? At that moment, there was a rush of liquid, as though a cork had been popped. Hearing the uncomfortable screams from a lady she could only assume to be her new mother, Morgana waited for whom she was now certain was her twin, to be born first. Listening intently she could hear the muffled voice of the midwife congratulating her new parents on their son. Moving into position Morgana prepared herself for the discomfort that being born would undoubtedly bring.

As Morgana prepared herself mentally, the midwife was handing the newborn Potter boy to his father. Taking his son into his arms James Potter was enraptured. "He's so small. Hi Bambi, I'm your Daddy." Smiling, he turned to his exhausted wife Lily Potter née Evans to show her just how well she'd done. "Look lilypad, look how well you did, our son is so perfect." The redheaded woman looked through half lidded eyes to see a shock of red hair within his father's arms. "Does he have a name?" The midwife asked as she was preparing to clean up Mrs. Potter. Nodding, James spoke "His name is Anthony James Charlus Potter." Suddenly his attention was pulled to his wife as she let out another scream of pain.

"It seems there is a second one ready to join us as well" the midwife spoke calmly. Eyes bulging wide, the new parents were shocked. "TWINS?! You hear that lilypad? We have twins!" James excitement for the moment was broken when she yelled at him to shut up. Finally after another 7 minutes Lily held her new daughter as the midwife finished cleaning her up.

Watching as she opened her eyes, Lily allowed a gentle gasp to escape as she saw the jewel like emerald eyes that looked so much like her own, only deeper, brighter, almost seeming to glow. "Morgana" she decided was the perfect name for this beautiful girl. "Morgana Lilianna Dorea Potter-Black, since we know Sirius will blood-adopt"

Morgana, hearing these words, and her new name, let out a gummy smile as she held tightly onto her mother's fingers, wondering what this new life has in store.

Far away, in another part of the world, Merlin froze, smiling, as he felt her soul rejoin the world once more. 'Soon Ana, soon we shall meet again and I will teach you all I have learned. Soon my sister.'

Days turned into weeks, as the Potter household fell into a peaceful routine with their newest additions to the family; It was then, that their previous Headmaster chose to burden them with dark knowledge. Informing them of the prophecy he had altered, was risky. If Lily asked too many questions, he'd be discovered. Thankfully his benevolent grandfatherly facade was well bought.

Urged into hiding, the Potter's used one of their closest friends as secret keeper for their new cottage. As the weeks passed they started to see the difference between the twins. Anthony was a hyper baby, always trying to get into everything. Morgana was the surprise child at every turn. First with her birth, and then with her calm disposition. Next was her crawling at 4 months, followed by her first word (Paddy) at 5 months. 6 months Morgana shocked her parents with a strong burst of magick that blasted all her toys away while holding her brother close, safe and unharmed. At 7 months she walked. Her first few times were wobbly, getting used to using her legs, once she got the feel for standing on her own, she walked with the air and grace of high born lady, not often found in a 7 month old toddler.

Anthony wasn't nearly as advanced as his sister. When he was figuring out how to crawl  forward at 8 months, she was relearning how to balance her core. As he took his first steps at 10 months, Morgana had started to frequent the library, trying to learn new beginner spells, and working to find out what had happened to the Old Religion. At 12 months they celebrated their birthday, and Anthony spoke his first word (-Gana, he couldn't say her full name yet).
