Years have passed, and his Goddaughter is still nowhere to be found. Mooney had started to lose hope of ever finding her, but Sirius refused to give up.

That was how he found himself apparating to Potter Manor in a desperate attempt for any leads. Knocking on the door, the Dog-star was let in by the Potter's head elf Mimsey. Her eyes were wide and teary seeing the man that came to be, from the young boy that would once sit with her in the middle of the night in tears.

"Hello Mimsey, Could you tell Lord Potter I've arrived please?" Nodding her head she popped off to get Master Jamie. There was another thing that had changed, she thought, Masters Siri and Jamie were no longer brothers. In the Lord's study, Mimsey quickly alerted her master Jamie of Master Siri's arrival.

James was surprised, Sirius had done everything he could to distance himself from them ever since they gave up their daughter four years ago. 'What could he want?' James wondered to himself as he made his way to the lobby.

"Lord Potter." A cold voice cut through the air and the Potter Lord was well and truly shocked at the perfect pureblood Lord that stood before him. His shoulder length shaggy hair was neatly pinned half up with a black ribbon, his grey eyes closed off and cold, a carefully crafted expressionless mask. His robes were freshly pressed with the Black Family insignia on the left side of the upper chest. So while Sirius hadn't aged at all, he looked completely different.

In Sirius' eyes, James Potter hadn't changed a bit. His Brown eyes that looked bigger than normal behind Round glasses that slid down his nose. His mop of unruly raven hair that stuck up in all directions, that even his uncle's creation of Sleek Eeazy struggled to help. His Lord robes while tidy, were slightly rumpled, evidence that he still slouched back when sitting at a desk. The only thing that spoke of their time apart was the new scar across his left cheek that he had received whilst on a capture mission for the Auror Department, and the tired lines around the corners of his eyes, that spoke of too many late nights.

"I need help, James. I can't find Jewel anywhere, and the godfather bond is straining. It physically hurts not knowing where she is, and whether or not she's okay. If you have gained any inkling in the last few years as to where she was placed, please tell me. I beg you. I just- I can't-" finally his mask cracked, as the tears once more poured from his eyes. "She's my daughter too James. Maybe not by birth, but she shares my blood, and my name. I need her back. I need to know she's safe and loved. I need- I need my pup back..." As silent sobs tore through and shook his body, Sirius was surprised to find himself in James' comforting embrace. Clinging to his former best mate desperately, he truly allowed himself the chance to mourn the time he'd lost and the pain he had felt knowing he couldn't find her.

After an hour-long breakdown, James was able to pull Sirius with him back to the study, where he promptly placed up Silencing charms, Perimeter alerts, Privacy charms, and Secrecy charms. The amount of wards that had been placed startled the Grimm Animagus more than words can say, but before he could ask any questions, James had started pacing and running his hands through his hair anxiously. Sirius knew then that there was more going on than meets the eye, and he would be damn sure to find out what, he only hoped he could get his best mate back after this.
"Okay, what I am about to tell you, can only be repeated once. So I need you, to alert Remus, because I don't think I'll be able to." Nodding in agreement Sirius prepared for any kind of bad news; though he never thought it could ever be as bad as what he was about to learn.
Preparing for the long story ahead, James sat back and began. "So..."
