Age 5:

Morgana had been living happily within Hogwarts castle, sitting in classes with the founders as they taught other children all they knew about Magick. It was summer break now, and they had promised to start teaching her on her birthday last week, however something had been wrong. "My magick. It feels murky" she told them. So they made an appointment with the Goblins of Gringotts. And so it was that just after lunch was finished Merlin, Sal, and Row gathered together with Morgana outside of the castle gates and apparated to their meeting at the bank.

Diagon alley had always been fascinating for the young witch, with so many different things to see each time she was there. Walking up to the grand white building on the back corner at end of the alley Morgana could see the goblins standing guard looking particularly sour. She guessed they must have been dealing with particularly rude witches and wizards today.

The Goblins stood to each side of the grand golden doors, were shocked beyond belief when the young witch bowed to them in respect and observed their customs of not entering before they opened the doors. The next doors were silver and intricately carved, with a poem of warning to all that may enter.

- Enter stranger,
but take heed,
Of what awaits,
the sin of greed,
For those who take,
but do not earn
Must pay most dearly,
in their turn.
So if you seek,
beneath our floors,
A treasure that,
was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned; beware,
Of finding more than treasure there. -

The guards standing there were just as shell shocked as their counterparts outside at this group of 4 that not only acknowledged and respected their customs, but heeded them as well. After being bowed through by some very happy Goblins, their little group stood in front of an empty tellers desk, and waited for him to finish his paperwork and acknowledge them.

The Goblin worked quietly for another five minutes, and was quite surprised this group of wand wielders hadn't demanded his time, but instead waited patiently. He was all the more willing to help them with their manners, meanwhile the other goblins were quietly grumbling wondering why they couldn't have such polite and respectful customers.

"Good afternoon" He spoke ready to begin helping them. The entire lobby was shocked into silence when the youngest of the group stepped forward and responded in perfect Gobbledegook.

¶ Good afternoon Master Goblin, May your gold ever flow. ¶ To say all of the other goblins were jealous of their peer was a massive understatement. Such a polite and well mannered child, if only they could be so lucky. ¶ Good afternoon Young one, may your Vaults never empty. How many I help you today? Looking to Merlin for help he stepped forward to help while Sal and Row smiled proudly at her manners and respect to the Goblins customs.

¶ Greetings Master Goblin, May your gold ever flow, we have an appointment with account manager Ugrod. ¶ Nodding in understanding the goblin teller motioned for them to follow him. They were led through many twists and turns, and back halls designed like a labyrinth the goblin finally came to a stop in front of a simple bronze door with a plaque reading 'Emrys and Pendragon Accounts' Morgana had never thought to look for the Pendragon name here. Brushing her fingers against it, she had to fight back her tears. Like Merlin knew what she was thinking, he placed a hand on her shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze.
