Dumbledore stood and raised his hands, a twinkle in his eye. "Let the feast begin!" he announced, his voice echoing through the Great Hall. At once, the tables were filled with an array of delicious foods:
Plates laden with roast chicken, beef, and lamb appeared alongside steaming bowls of mashed potatoes, rich gravies, and a colorful assortment of vegetables. Platters of freshly baked bread, pies, and tarts completed the spread, while pitchers of pumpkin juice and goblets of butterbeer materialized beside each student. The hall buzzed with excitement as students, both new and old, took in the sumptuous feast before them.

Every student’s eyes widened in amazement. Conversations paused as everyone marveled at the sheer variety and sumptuousness of the feast before them. Many of the first years gaped at the spread, some reaching tentatively for a dish while others dove in enthusiastically. The older students, more accustomed to the magic of the Great Hall, smiled knowingly but were no less enthusiastic about filling their plates.

At the Gryffindor table, Anthony had settled in and started sharing jokes and conversations with Fred, George and Lee. He'd spoken to Percy and explained about what had transpired just before their sorting. Carefully expressing his concern about Morgana and the unwanted attention from the youngest Weasley son.

Percy's disbelief in his youngest brother's actions was palpable. "I'm so sorry about him, Anthony. I'll try to keep an eye on him so that he leaves her alone like he's been told to do."

Anthony nodded, casting a quick glance at his sister across the hall. "You okay, Morgana?" he thought, sending his concern through their bond. "I’m fine, Anthony," came her reassuring thought. "Remember, focus on the food and enjoy yourself. Don’t worry about the others. Your real friends are here. I know how much you hate the fame, brother. I promise, we won't have to play the roles the goat assigned us forever."

At the Ravenclaw table, Hermione was already deep in conversation with some older students about their study habits and the best places to read in the castle. “And the library, is it as impressive as I’ve heard?” she asked eagerly, her eyes shining with anticipation.

“Absolutely,” replied a fifth-year. “It’s got everything you could possibly need—ancient tomes, magical texts, and the most comprehensive collection of spell books. There’s even a Restricted Section for advanced studies, though you’ll need a special permit to access it.”

Hermione’s face lit up even more. “I can’t wait to explore it. Do they have many study areas?”

“Plenty,” the fifth-year assured her. “Quiet nooks, private study rooms, and even a few enchanted desks that help you stay focused. You’ll love it.”

Over at the Hufflepuff table, Neville was trying to make small talk with his new housemates. While the hat, had given him more confidence, he was still feeling a bit out of place. “I’ve never seen so much food in one place,” he admitted shyly, his eyes darting nervously around.

“Just wait until Christmas,” a friendly Hufflepuff first-year girl named Hannah Abbott said with a grin. “I’ve heard that the decorations are something else. The Great Hall looks like a winter wonderland, and the food is even better than this.” Neville managed a small smile. “I can’t wait to see it.”

At the Slytherin table, Morgana seemed to fit in seamlessly. Quietly and politely conversing with her friends, and keeping a weary eye on her surroundings. Her short chat with Anthony made her worry for her brother's sanity while attending school.
