Sarah understood that some people might see working at a bar in a negative light, but after seeing Carmi's work and talking with her about it, Sarah didn't see anything wrong with being a bartender. She decided to accept the job offer.

Sarah: "You know, Carmi, I've been thinking. I appreciate you showing me what you do here. It seems like a fun and fast-paced job."

Carmi (smiling): "I'm glad you think so, Sarah! It's not just about mixing drinks; it's about creating a great customer experience."

Sarah: "And I could use the extra income to help with my other school expenses... Though my tuition is free, we have a lot of extra needs...I think I'll take the job offer and give it a try."

Carmi (supportively): "That's awesome! I think you'll do great. Plus, you'll see firsthand that being a bartender isn't just about serving drinks—it's about connecting with people and making their time here enjoyable."

Sarah felt reassured by Carmi's encouragement. She knew it was a chance to learn new skills and contribute financially while keeping up with her studies.

Sarah made her decision...

She picked up her notebook, flipping through pages filled with meticulous notes and diagrams. The weight of her family's financial struggles pressed heavily on her heart, but so did a fierce determination to find a solution.

"I'll apply for every scholarship out there," she continued aloud, her voice gaining strength. "But it's not enough, I'll look for part-time work. I'll accept Carmi's invitation,"

Her eyes wandered to the framed photo of her family on her bedside table—their smiles frozen in a moment of happiness that now seemed distant. "I won't let them down," she vowed, her voice steadying. "I'll make them proud, no matter what it takes."

With that promise echoing in her mind, Sarah closed her notebook and reached for her textbooks. The road ahead seemed daunting, but she knew she couldn't afford to falter. Every chapter, every assignment, was now a step towards securing her future and easing her family's burden.

As she buried herself in her studies, a quiet determination settled over her, fueling her resolve to turn her dreams into reality, one determined step at a time.

One weekend...

Sarah is now at the bar for training after she accepted Carmi's offer to be a bartender...

The bar is bustling with energy as aspiring bartenders gather around the sleek, polished counter. The ambient lighting casts a warm glow, highlighting the array of colorful liquor bottles and fresh fruits neatly arranged on the shelves. In the background, soft jazz music plays, adding to the sophisticated atmosphere.

With her hair tied back in a neat ponytail and wearing a crisp white shirt, Sarah stands confidently behind the bar. Her eyes sparkle with excitement and focus.

Instructor: "Alright, everyone, today we'll be mastering the art of mixing juices and drinks. Remember, the key is balance – the perfect blend of flavors."

Sarah nods, her hands already reaching for the vibrant fruits displayed in front of her. She picks up a ripe orange and expertly slices it, the citrus scent filling the air. Next, she grabs a handful of mint leaves, gently crushing them to release their refreshing aroma.

Instructor: "Sarah, why don't you start with a classic – a Mojito. Let's see your take on it."

Sarah smiles, her confidence growing. She places a tall glass on the counter, adding a generous portion of fresh lime juice, sugar, and mint leaves. With a muddler, she crushes the mixture, creating a fragrant base. She then adds a splash of rum and tops it off with sparkling water. Carefully, she stirs the concoction, ensuring all the flavors blend perfectly.
