As Sarah arrived at the secluded farmhouse for the birthday celebration, a mixture of nerves and determination filled her. She had dressed in the showgirl outfit provided-a glittering costume that felt both exhilarating and uncomfortable. The atmosphere was festive yet unnerving, surrounded mostly by men, many around her age or slightly older.

Chuck had assured her that everything was above board, but as she glanced around the dimly lit room, Sarah couldn't shake a sense of unease. The music thumped loudly, echoing in the open space, and the air was thick with the smell of alcohol and cigar smoke.

Sarah: (whispering to herself) Okay, Sarah, you can do this. Just get through the night.

Chuck: (approaching her with a broad smile) Hey, there you are! Look at you, all glammed up. You look fantastic.

Sarah: (forcing a smile) Thanks, Chuck. So, uh, what exactly do I need to do tonight?

Chuck: (waving his hand dismissively) Oh, nothing too crazy. Just mingle with the guests, and make sure they're having a good time. Maybe do a little dance later if you're up for it.

Sarah: (glancing around the room) Right. And, uh, who's the birthday person?

Chuck: (pointing towards a group of men) Over there, the guy in the white shirt. His name's Mike. Just keep him happy, okay? He's a good tipper.

Sarah: (nodding) Got it. (pausing) Chuck, this place... it feels a bit... off. Are you sure everything's legit?

Chuck: (patting her shoulder) Relax, Sarah. Everything's fine. We've done this plenty of times. Just enjoy yourself. (walking away) I'll check in on you later.

Sarah: (taking a deep breath, muttering to herself) Okay, just keep your head up and stay alert.

Random Guest: (coming up to her) Hey there, gorgeous. Wanna dance?

Sarah: (forcing a smile) Maybe later. I'm just getting settled in.

Random Guest: (grinning) Well, don't keep me waiting too long. (walks away)

Sarah: (looking around, spotting another girl in a similar outfit) Hey, do you have a minute?

Other Girl: (smiling) Sure, what's up?

Sarah: (nervously) Is it your first time here too?

Other Girl: (shaking her head) Nah, I've been to a few of these. They're pretty chill once you get used to it. Just stick close to Chuck if you feel uneasy.

Sarah: (nodding) Thanks. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right.

Other Girl: (smiling reassuringly) You'll be fine. Just remember, if anyone gets too handsy, let Chuck know. He's good at handling these guys.

Sarah: (smiling slightly) Thanks, I appreciate it.

Other Girl: No problem. We're in this together. (winking) Now, let's go make some tips!

She found herself standing alongside the other girls, who shared nervous glances. They were all here for the same reason-financial need driving them to this unconventional gig.

As the birthday celebrant arrived, surrounded by cheering friends, Sarah took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. The night unfolded with dances and performances, each choreographed to entertain the guests. Sarah moved gracefully, trying to focus on the routine and block out the uncomfortable stares and comments from some of the attendees.

Mike (Birthday Celebrant): (smiling as he approaches Sarah) Hey there, you must be one of the entertainers for tonight. What's your name?

Sarah: (smiling politely) Hi, I'm Sarah. Happy birthday, Mike.
