Beneath the Surface

In St. Claire's halls, where whispers roam,
She walks alone, her heart unknown.
A quiet soul, a steadfast grace,
Yet shadows dance behind her face.

She dreams of light, of futures bright,
Yet darkness calls in sleepless nights.
A mother's tears, a heavy cost,
A sacrifice, a love once lost.

He searches through the silent air,
For traces of the girl who cared.
Yet fate had drawn a bitter line,
Between her world and what was mine.

But truth won't rest, nor love let go,
Through tangled paths, the heart still knows.
Beneath the surface, secrets stay,
Yet hope still fights to find its way.
