When Tristan wakes up, Sarah is no longer beside him. There are no traces of her presence, leaving him confused and questioning whether it was all a dream or a result of being drunk.

Tristan: (softly, to himself) Sarah?

He looks around the room, searching for any sign of her, but finds nothing except the faint scent of her perfume lingering in the air.

Tristan: (thinking) Was it all just a dream? Did I imagine everything?

He sits up, running a hand through his hair, trying to piece together the events of the night before.

Tristan: (muttering) We talked... we were together. She was real.

He gets up, walking around the room as if hoping to find a clue, anything that would confirm what he experienced.

Tristan: (frustrated) Damn it, Sarah. Where are you?

He checks his phone, half-expecting a message or call from her, but there's nothing.

Tristan: (softly, to himself) Maybe she regretted it. Maybe I scared her off.

He sinks back onto the bed, feeling disappointment and longing.

Tristan: (whispering) But it felt so real. She felt so real.

He closes his eyes, trying to hold onto the memory of Sarah's presence, wondering if he'll ever see her again.

Tristan: (softly) Please, let it not just be a dream.

As he sits there, lost in his thoughts, the room feels emptier than ever, the fleeting moments of intimacy with Sarah now a fragile memory.

Tristan prepares to leave, but thoughts of Sarah consume his thoughts.

Tristan: (to himself, softly) Sarah... Where did you go?

He gathers his things, his movements distracted as he replays moments from the night before in his mind.

Tristan: (thinking) She was real. The way she looked at me, talked to me... It couldn't have been just a dream.

He checks his phone again, hoping for a message that isn't there.

Tristan: (sighing) Did I say something wrong? Did I push her away?

His footsteps echo in the quiet room as he paces back and forth, trying to make sense of what happened.

Tristan: (softly) I should have told her how much she meant to me. Maybe she would have stayed.

He stops suddenly, staring out the window as if searching for answers.

Tristan: (resigned) Maybe it was too much for her. Maybe I was too much.

He runs a hand through his hair, frustration, and regret mingling in his expression.

Tristan: (whispering) I wish I knew what she was thinking. If she felt the same.

With a heavy sigh, he picks up his bag and heads for the door, uncertainty weighing on his shoulders.

Tristan: (quietly) Wherever you are, Sarah... I hope you know how much you've changed everything.

As he leaves the room, he carries with him the lingering hope of seeing Sarah again, uncertain of what the future holds but certain of the impact she has had on him.
