"Frisk!" Toriel called out. "Didn't you just return?"
Frisk had just opened the door once more after entering. From outside, they could hear the thumping thuds of Undyne's feet striking the ground as she ran.
"I-i just need to check something." Frisk responded meekly.
"Just be safe." Toriel responded, still in the living room.
Truth to be told, Toriel was worried for Frisk. They always were out doing one thing or another. This wasn't a bad thing, she preferred her child to be active and social over one who stayed in, yet she felt strangely disconnected to them. And as much as she trusted Frisk, she hardly knew what they did when they were out alone.

You want to know as much as me.
Of course I do, who wouldn't?
...but?
It just doesn't seem right.
Frisk wished they were simply fighting against their conscious, but instead, it was a living ghost of a dead child.
I just don't know if I should do it.
Frisk didn't like the idea of opening that shed. For some odd reason, they felt like it was an awful idea. Or maybe not?
It's the same key. That means it's the same basement as the one underground, right? And you looked in there.
Chara, filled with curiously, egged Frisk on. It wasn't malicious, it was just curiosity.
Frisk was alone, in the forest. They were desperately trying to navigate the labyrinth of the forest. Every turn looked identical. Considering they didn't get out by conventional means previously, it wasn't easy to track their steps.
It's Sans's shed. The key and the way he knew where it was.
Frisk had deduced that. Sans was hiding something in there. What it was? That was unknown.
It's probably nothing. Maybe he just doesn't like people knowing he's a nerd with a lab.
Chara didn't actually believe that. It was just something to say to convince Frisk to press on.
Despite the loop they were seemingly in, Frisk still stayed determined. They continued through the forest for what seemed like hours until a familiar and much more ominous seeming shed appeared.

"Ah, there you are." Papyrus responded to his brother appearing on the sofa.
"mhm, helped out Undyne and the kid and made some gold in the process." Sans casually replied. Papyrus didn't question anything. Sans then looked over his shoulder to look outside through the window.
It was so peaceful. Sometimes, he would just stay like this for however long he wanted. The surface environment was hypnotic. Even more so with Frisks assurance of resets no longer being a problem.
He then looked back at his brother, who was making... something in the kitchen. He was calm, peaceful and worrying of absolutely nothing.
And then he noticed the list of business names that had crosses on them.
"no luck on the job?" Sans enquired.
Maybe one worry.
"No luck yet." Papyrus responded in a beat. It's been the same for a while. They lived fine off the money they already had and Sans's part time job acting as some sort of shortcut transporter. Ever since people figured out the extents of his magic, he had to monetise it someway.
