Sam called Alana and told her what happened to Daniel. After Alana got dressed she went to meet up with Sam and Robby. In the morning Daniel mentioned Alana, and her injury. How he couldn't help her, so now she had to tell him that it wasn't his fault.
"Every time I try to fight for what's right, somebody gets hurt. I can't fail these kids again." Daniel said to Amanda. "You didn't fail us." Alana said as her, Robby, and Alana stood together at the door. Daniel almost had déjà vu at the sight.
"The first day I met you, i've looked up to you. the fact that you cared about me enough to become a father figure. And when we started training together, you made me realize that I didn't just need Johnny, I need you too." Alana said as Daniel's eyes teared up. "You know, when you first met me, I was a messed up kid. But you gave me a job, and a home, and a purpose. You can't just give up." Robby said from beside Alana.
Daniel walked up to the two, "Alana, Robby. Things I did, juvie. I was just trying to help." He said, "No, i'm sorry. i mean i should've listened to you about Cobra Kai. But I didn't understand it until i started mentoring someone myself. Now Silvers got ahold of this kid. There's some others in there that I care about. We need to stop Cobra Kai." Robby said, "But we can't do it without you." Alana said. "Sensei." Alana added making Daniel smile.
"Dad, not everyone has someone like you to protect them, teach them. It's time that all of us join this fight." Sam said, "All of us?" Daniel asked.
Sam and Alana led them to the sliding doors, Daniel smiled when he saw the kids, Johnny, and Chozen. Alana stood in the middle of Miguel and Robby, smile on her face. "You're not alone now." Alana said. "So what do you say, Dad? Will you fight?" Sam asked.
Daniel looks at everyone and smiled, Chozen and Johnny getting beside him as they faced the kids. All the kids bowed to their Senseis, them bowing back.

The next day, all the students were together in the Miyagi-do karate backyard.
Alana was with Sam and Anthony, while Miguel was with Demetri and Eli. "So, you and Lana back training together. Game on, right?" Eli said, "Yeah, game on for Karate." Miguel said. "Come on, Remember the water park? How about the times you were with her? The exchanges of looks." Eli said. Demetri looked at Alana, "What's happening now?" He asked Miguel.
Miguel looked at the guys, "I'm giving her time to find herself, 'fix' herself as she says. I told her i'd wait." Miguel said. Eli and Demetri looked at each other, "What?" Miguel asked as he noticed their looks. "Miguel, ever since we were kids, Lana has never felt feelings." Demetri said. Miguel tilted his head in confusion.
"What he's saying, she's not good with talking about her emotions. She stops herself. Just because she doesn't say it, doesn't mean she doesn't feel it." Eli explains. Miguel thinks about Eli's words. "When do you think she'll say it?" Miguel asked, Eli shrugged. Demetri put his arm around Miguel's shoulders, "You know Lana more than anyone, just give her the time she needs." Demetri said as Miguel nodded. He started understanding her a lot more. He just hopes that he doesn't make any mistakes before she tells him.
