Alana was grounded. When Johnny took her and Miguel to the Diaz apartment, Ross and Carmen immediately hugged their children.
Miguel and Alana didn't say anything about Mexico. They also didn't say anything when Alana and Ross left the apartment. It suddenly became awkward between them. Their trip wasn't how they planned it to be.

The next morning Alana had changed into some light blue baggy pants and a red hoodie. She attempted to cook breakfast for her dad.
But that didn't stop her from being grounded.

Ross sat down with Alana as they talked, "So i was wondering, can I go out with Sam, Yasmine, and Moon?" Alana asked.
Ross smiled at his daughter. "You're grounded, not imprisoned." He said making her chuckle. "Can I take the Jeep?" She asked. "Nope." He said making her sigh, "why'd you ground me from the Jeep?" She asked with a groan. "Rather you ground me from hanging out with my friends." Alana said as she drank some water.

"Lana, you went to Mexico with your boyfriend without telling anyone. Be happy your Jeep is the only thing i'm taking from you." Ross said as he smiled. "How was the ride home?" Ross asked, Alana stopped chewing her food. "Quiet. Awkward. Miguel and you-know-who attempted to have conversation but, it was uncomfortable." She said.
"Well it will get better." Ross reassured his daughter. Alana looked at him, "Sure, unless he-who-must-not-be-named apologizes for putting me in the hospital." She shrugged as she went back to eating.

Alana's phone suddenly turned on, she looked to see that it was a text message from Sam telling her that they were waiting for her.
"Ok, they're here. don't worry, I know. Curfew." She said as she put her plate on the counter and kissed her dad's head.
"When I was younger I had worse punishments. You'll survive." Ross said, "You do know this is my first time getting grounded." Alana smiled before opening the door, "bye, dad." She said, "Bye." He said as she left the house and walked to the car.

Sam immediately opens the door and pulled Alana into a hug. "Lana, how was Mexico with Miguel?" Moon asked, Alana sighed, "We need to talk, please." She said, "Desperate cry for help." Yasmine said as they pulled up to a restaurant.

When they got there the girls began talking. Yasmine and Moon on one side, Alana and Sam sitting across from them.
"So what happened?" Sam asked, Alana sighed, "I left so I can escape my problems, guess they decided to follow me." She said. "Start from the beginning." Yasmine said.

"Well, the ride was fine. Got scammed by a couple Australians." She started, "What?" Moon asked. Alana sighed, "I don't know guys, I assumed that it was gonna be a great time. But it wasn't." She said. "I mean all we did was argue and disagree on shit." Alana explained as her friends watched with a frown. "Miguel and I have never got into fights, even before we were dating." Alana told them.
"You didn't do that thing where you get angry say something you shouldn't have, right?" Sam asked making Alana stop and glance at her.

The girls groan, "Hey, I can't help it. Besides I don't think it's just that. I think he might be mad at me for a bigger reason." Alana said as she played with her matching bracelet that she bought in Mexico. "How so?" Yasmine asked, "Do I look like I know?" Alana sighed, "I mean, we slept together for the first time. That was great." Alana said making all the girls perk up.
"Excuse me!" Yasmine said. Alana leaned back, "What?" She asked.
