(Lou's POV)

Nolan: "No, you're grounded. Remember?"

"Ugh. I'm an adult. You can't do that."

I leaned closer to kiss him again. He put his hand to my chest.

Nolan: "No kisses."

I sighed and stood normally again.

"But for a whole week?"

Nolan: "Yes. Now, help me make the guest list for our wedding. And by the way, I still think both our suits should be white."

"I guess."

It'd been three days since I've kissed him. I knew that what I did was unacceptable, but a whole week without kisses was too extreme. It was like he was purposely torturing me.

Nolan: "Do you like the Modern theme better or Romantic? Hey.. Lou Bear."

I sighed and looked back at him. It was just us in his office. He didn't have work to do but it was a good place to discuss wedding plans. He still had the books and magazines from last time.

"As long as it's indoor.."

Nolan: "Indoor...? You just don't like bugs."

He smiled and waited for me to say something else instead.

I said nothing. He stood and grabbed my hand.

Nolan: "Aw.. is someone grumpy?"

He tilted his head and smiled. His lips looked so soft and kissable I couldn't take it anymore.

Nolan: "Look, just help me with these last decisions and maybe you won't be grounded anymore.."

He watched as I leaned in closer and turned his head so I kissed his cheek instead. I sighed in defeat.
He smiled and brought me closer to the table.

Nolan: "Come on. Help me choose the theme."

So we figured out most of our decisions and finally went out to get lunch.

~~~
Nolan: "You didn't have to do that.."
"Of course I did. We told them no onions on your burger. It's not your job to take them out."
I set the food back on the tables as voices grumbled and complained back at the counter.
He took a bite and chewed his onion-free burger happily.
Nolan: "Well, thank you... You sure you don't want anything?
I shook my head and sipped my water while he devoured his burger, 10 nuggets and large fries. He was eating more than usual lately, but I obviously wasn't going to say anything. I didn't have a death wish.
Nolan: "Ooh I'm stuffed. Here, have the last nugget."
He fed it to me and began to gather the empty boxes and wrappers. Once he did, I threw them out and we went outside.
We walked hand in hand like usual and pointed at birds and things in trees.
Nolan: "Aw look a butterfly!"
We stopped walking and a Monarch fluttered near us and did a few loops in the air. Nolan gripped my hand tighter in excitement. I watched it too until it disappeared past the greenery of the trees.
He looked at me with his beautiful eyes and smiled.
Nolan: "I can't believe you want our wedding indoors when it's so beautiful out here."
I smiled at him.
"I just don't want bees floating in our faces. Or spiders."
He hummed in response and kept the eye contact. I leaned forward for the millionth time but ended up kisses his cheek yet again.
