I stare down at the file, the brows pushed together as I'm trying to figure out what Mathias Black has to do with Eamon before I permanently relief him of his breathing duties

"There is no connection" I finally say looking up to Soleil and Emilio who are seated in front of me

"Our point exactly, turns out he was just curious about his worker—that he just so happened to kiss" Soleil scoffs causing my jaw to clench as she refers to Isadora

"I say we let him go, he's innocent" Emilio adds in before placing another file in front of me

"Lea had asked if Isadora could help with this file" I don't bother looking at it but I slightly nod in approval. With nothing left to report back Soleil rises from her seat, swaying her hips as she leaves

"Is there something I can assist you with ?" I ask Emilio, taking note of his presence still in my office

"Have you noticed the way Isadora acts around Soleil ?" He folds his arms playfully while I stare at him blankly waiting for him to be straight with whatever he's attempting to say

"Soleil can be intimidating to people when she wants to be" I state, my gaze falling back to the file once more

"I don't think that's why, you should ask her" he blurts out

"Why would I do that ?"

"Well you did sleep with her and she is your wife, show some respect and decency to ask why she's uncomfortable around her, caring is the least we can do"

"The least we can do? She got me arrested"

"We kidnapped her"

"She was working for Eamon"

"She was blinded by his facade"

"How about you ask her yourself if you care so much" I bite, narrowing my eyes at him which forces him to raise both hands as if to surrender

"Are you seriously trying to deny your care for her? You married her to protect her which-"

"I married her to have her under a microscope" my brows furrow

"She needs to be comfortable and she rarely is, quit being an asshole and just ask" he rolls his eyes forcing me to stare blankly at him again for the tone he'd used

"So about you sleeping with her-" he adds on with a playful grin plastered across his face while he quirks his brow

I lunge at him but he immediately scrambles off the chair, chuckling as he exits the room leaving me alone in my thoughts.

Isadora
My stomach is hurting due to the amount of times Lea had made me laugh, I feel as though I am getting abs.

"And then he goes ahead and says, but why is it called buildings if they are already built ?" She says, sitting on the floor in front of me, knees up to her chest.

I chuckle at the stupidity of the client she rants about, laying flat on the couch with my curls spreading around the pillow.

"That is honestly a good question if you ask me, these are the real questions we should be asking in court" I grin

As we both come down from our high, silence settles between us.

"Look it's obvious you and Soleil don't really see eye to eye but—"
