Isadora
I'm zoned out into the abyss as I try to make sense of last night, the ache of uncertainty settling in, a heavy cloud casting shadows over my once bright hopes as his response echoes in my mind,'I'm someone who's incapable of love, someone who cannot be loved'
Why ? Was it all just a lie, his way of telling me he doesn't feel the same way? Or is there a deeper reason behind his belief ?
"Isadora?" Lea snaps me out of my trance, waving her palm in front of my face
"Hm?" I meet her gaze
"Are you sure you're ready for this ? We can always construct another plan to take Eamon down" she asks as she loads her gun before tucking it behind her back.
I'm expected to go undercover today, my goal is to find the main office in one of Eamon's club and copy all the information off the computer. With that they can use some sort of back door to track his movements.
"I'll be fine don't worry" I cock my head, offering her a small smile
"Okay, we'll all be waiting outside for you and a couple of men will be inside as well" she revises before ushering me out the room. There's still no sign of Dante since our last encounter, I hoped to see him in his office at least but I guessed wrong.

I sway my hips inside the club, my ear filled with the sound of loud music. Strippers dancing with a pole on a platform with men watching intensely, women sitting on men's laps inside the booths, people just dancing around each other including with their tongues down their throats.
An attention catches my eye over at the bar, the bartender staring me up and down which causes me to stride over.
I sidled up to the bar, meeting his gaze with a coy smile.
"What's your specialty tonight?" I inquire, my voice laced with a hint of mischief as I nod over to the strippers
"Depends on what you're in the mood for" he replies smoothly while I lean in closer to him, our gaze burning into each others
"I'm in the mood for a lot of things" I grin while he returns it
"Speaking of which, you should try my concoction" he pulls away playfully and I roll my eyes, tonight is going to be a long one.
As the conversation deepens, the air around us crackle with a shared understanding, a silent agreement ghat spoke volumes in the unspoken language of attraction. He takes off his apron after looking at the clock and by my guess, he's finally off duty.
I studied the blueprint of this place, the main office is located on the upper level so I need to find a way up there without raising any flags. I grab the drink he'd served me from an hour ago,
"I'll be back" I wink walking over to a plant before dumping the liquid when I notice his attention is elsewhere. I head over to the bathroom, pushing the door open which reveals a shiny marble counter, golden fixtures gleaming, and soft lights casting a warm glow.
I de-freshen up quickly, drawing my hand up to roughen my hair as to look buzzed. Walking back out, the bartender from before appeared to be waiting for me allowing me to let out a smirk
"I think it's time I ask you what your specialty is" he cocks his head, slipping an arm around my exposed waist, hoisting me closer to him.
