Extra Chapter 5

In the evening, as usual, Lisa, Jungkook, and Jeon Yican had a video call.

As soon as the call connected, she first saw Jeon Yican.

At the moment, the little girl was sitting on the couch, wearing a pink nightgown, looking adorable.

However, her soft hair had been tied up into a little bun that seemed to stand on top of her head like a lump of dumbfounded fluff. It was as if a carefully pampered little princess suddenly took a humorous and down-to-earth approach.

"Canbao, your hair..." Lisa pondered for a moment but didn't say the word messy, "Who tied it up for you?"

"Daddy," When talking about this, Jeon Yican's voice clearly held a bit of annoyance. She then asked, "Mommy, when are you coming back?"

She expressed her disdain for her father and her longing for her mother's return. Her mixed emotions were quite evident.

In fact, as soon as Lisa saw Jeon Yican's hairstyle, she had already guessed. But now, looking at Jeon Yican pouting, with a hint of disdain in her innocent eyes, Lisa couldn't help but laugh even more, "I'll be back soon, honey. I have a flight tomorrow morning. Jeon Yican said, "Daddy is here."

He didn't say anything to her and instead turned his head to the side, "Canbao, Mommy will be back tomorrow."

Jeon Yican responded with a soft Oh.

"You'll see Mommy tomorrow, so for now, go upstairs and sleep with nanny," he instructed.

"..."

Lisa listened to this exchange on her end and couldn't help but find it amusing, "Canbao hasn't finished talking to me yet!"

Jungkook sat down on the sofa and stretched out his long legs, leaning forward casually. He looked at the screen, "You just asked her where I am. Are you trying to switch to someone else?"

"Where did you get that idea? I was just asking casually."

Moreover, even if she wanted to talk to Jungkook, it wasn't necessary to send Jeon Yican to bed immediately.

Jungkook responded, "Oh."

Then he added in a low voice, "I was just thinking of switching."

His tone was slightly serious, with a hint of a smile at the corner of his eyes.

Lisa also smiled. She was sitting on the bed in the hotel suite. Earlier, she had to maintain the image of a mother in front of Jeon Yican, so she sat upright. But now, she leaned back comfortably, yawned, and looked quite relaxed.

"Feeling tired? Want to sleep?" Jungkook asked.

"No, I don't," Lisa turned on her side, and her eyes had a bit of watery shine due to the yawn, making them appear bright, "Weren't you going to chat with me? This might be our last chance before I come back."

This was their fourth year together, but their relationship still had the same spark as during their honeymoon phase. They talked about both substantial and trivial matters and eventually Jungkook asked her about her flight time.

"Are you picking me up?" After stating the flight time, she raised the corner of her lips.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow playfully, his smile leisurely, "When haven't I picked you up?"
