Percy's POV

The next morning before breakfast, I found (Y/N) at the Big House, talking with Chiron and Mr. D. I knew he had to leave soon, but I needed to tell him about my dream.

"—will take you after breakfast," Chiron was telling (Y/N). "I don't know how long you'll have to travel, but I'm sure it will—"

He stopped when he noticed me. (Y/N) turned. I felt my face go red. I had interrupted them. "Sorry. I'll just wait outside."

They just stared at me as I walked back out. I shouldn't have went in like that. That was stupid of me.

I waited for a couple of minutes before (Y/N) came out. He gave me a tired smile. "Hey, Perce."

"Sorry about that," I apologized. "I just need to see you before you leave."

He nodded in understanding. He looked exhausted. I don't think he slept a wink last night. Was his trip making him nervous or something?

We walked around camp, and I told him about my dream of Annabeth and Luke.

"A cave ceiling collapsed on her?" he asked.

"Yeah. What the heck does that mean?"

(Y/N) thought about it. "I don't know... So Luke was holding this ceiling and then he tricked Annabeth into holding it..."

He sighed. "I'm sorry. I can't really focus right now. I wish I wasn't leaving."

"Me too. Do you know how long you'll be away?"

He shook his head. "No. I wish I did. Hopefully it won't be too long." He scratched the back of his head.

"Hey, are you all right?" I asked him. "You look tired and nervous and—"

"Am I that easy to read?"

"I mean, you have bags under your eyes, man."

(Y/N) chuckled. "I'm just super nervous about what I'm going to do. It's...it's a lot."

I really wanted to know what it was. Maybe I could help him feel better. But I didn't want to ask because then I'd probably start annoying him and the last thing I want is for him to get mad at me right before he's going to leave for who knows how long.

"I'm going to miss you," I said randomly.

He ruffled my hair. "I am too. Sorry we couldn't hang out more. It's just...duty calls."

I realized then that this would be the first time I'd be at camp without (Y/N) or Annabeth. I felt sad all of a sudden. Yeah, I had Grover and Thalia, but... (Y/N) and Annabeth have been with me my entire time at camp.

"I'll try to come back as quickly as I can," (Y/N) said. "Then we can figure out what to do about Annabeth."

I nodded. "All right. Sounds good."

The conch horn blew then, signaling that breakfast was ready. We went our separate ways.

...

During breakfast, everyone kept warily glancing in the direction of the table where Chiron and Mr. D ate. That's because the Titaness Themis was sitting there with them this morning.

I don't think anyone had ever been in the presence of a Titaness before (including me unless you count that projection of Theia we saw last summer). It was pretty nerve wracking.
