RABYA
"Wow." I pressed my face against the glass window to see the mighty Himalayas. White snow cladding the tip of mountains and long trees on the surface. The weather was pleasant, neither too cold and obviously nor too warm.
The large glass window just in front of the bed and a beautiful wooden cabin with warm scent of coffee and vanilla and a huge TV screen to the other.
I sat on the soft bed and smiled, widely.
Mountains.
And I wish I've been to mountains before. I wish I found them fascinating before. There are so many things that I've missed in my life and most of them don't bother me expect not being able to live my life.
This luxurious hotel which Adhrit had booked for us. It might be costly but it's mesmerizing. It's like a cosy cottage with fancy interiors and a breathtaking view outside. I can happily spend weeks in this room and not get bored. I mean I could imagine myself waking to the red rays of sun filtering through the window in the dawn. My eyes will open at the sight of mountains and fog. And then at night, even if the sky is hazy, I'd be able to see the outline of the trees and shrubs.
"Thankyou." I turned my attention to Adhrit who was already looking back at me.
He quickly averted his eyes from me.
"You're fascinated by the world and I'm fascinated by you." He smiled.
"What's there in me to be fascinated about?" I asked, smile dropping from my face when I was remembered being called as a taint on the name of being woman.
"Why are you fascinated by these mountains, Rabya?" He asked back.
I looked out of the window and shrugged. "There's no specific reason. It's just that I feel pleasant."
"I hope you got your answer."
"Eh?" I raised my eyebrows.
"You're soothing to my melancholy heart." He replied.
"Don't you think it's other way round?" I whispered under my breath.
He sat on the chair and takes out something from his bag. "Here, I bought a book for you."
I see the title in excitement and grinned. "Thankyou so much."
Seeing like a feminist.
"How did you find this book?" I asked despite being very well aware that he must've came to know about it from the Google.
Something clicked in his eyes. "What's the meaning of in the world in the world of sigma men, you're legit a pookie?"
I blinked in confusion. "I don't get it. I mean I don't know."
"Yesterday when I went to buy this book for you, there were bunch of girls. They asked me if I'm gifting the book to my girlfriend. I told them that it's for my wife then they said that thing to me."
I frowned. "Can you please give your phone to me?"
He nodded.
I decided to look for his search history later. First I need to know exactly what those girls said to him. When I typed it down, my frown deepened. "They called you cute."
