Weeks had went by and school was going great. Karina's kids weren't roo much of a hand full and they were all on track. Chris and Karina were speaking whenever he came to pick up Royalty. They would stand and chat about Royalty most of the time because he wanted to know how she was doing and if there was anything he needed to do.
Today was Thursday and Karina was excited because the week was almost over. She loves the weekends, especially Friday nights. Chris helped Royalty in the car and once they both were good, he sped off.
"Daddy?"
"Wassup Ro?"
"I love school!"
"You do? What you love about school?"
"Ms.Wright! She is so nice and she makes learning easy." Chris smiled at the sound of that. He never really liked school so he was glad to hear his daughter did.
"That's good Ro! I'm glad to hear you love school and your teacher."
"Daddy?"
"Wassup?"
"Can Ms.Wright do my hair? She does it so good and I want braids!" Chris sighed and looked at her in the mirror.
"Ro your mama said she would do it."
"She don't do it right. Ms.Wright does hair in real life...like for real." Chris chuckled.
"I'll think about it."
They arrived at the school shortly and Chris walked Royalty to class. Karina was outside her class per usual talking to another student.
"Ms.Wright!!" Royalty yelled and she ran to her. Karina smiled and kneeled down.
"Hey pretty girl, you ready to learn today?" Royalty nodded and they gave each other a high five. "Okay Royalty and Leo, go put your stuff up because we about to get started soon." The kids ran in the room and Karina stood up and smiled at Chris. "Good morning."
"Good morning. Royalty has a lunch box today, i'm not sure what she put in it but whatever it is can you make sure she bring the lunchbox back?" Karina laughed and nodded her head.
"I'll make sure."
"Okay. Y'all have a good one." Chris said as he walked away and out the school. Karina walked into the room and Royalty came up to her.
