"What did you say?" Karina asked. She opened her eyes and looked at Chris. Chris sighed and moved closer to Karina. He kneeled in front of her and grabbed her hand.
"Jazmine and I slept together one time and that was it. I broke the shit off after it happened and that bitch started being friends with you to set me up-"
"I'm a bitch now?! Chris don't sit there and lie to her! I didn't set you up! How was I supposed to know y'all were together?!"
"We all over social media! You trifling as fuck! Karina she pretended to be your friend!" He spat as he stood up, facing Jazmine as they argued.
"You full of shit! Karina after he told me y'all were together my friends did give me your name but I didn't think they were talking about YOU!"
"You not a good liar." Chris said as he chuckled and shook his head. "That shit don't even make sense."
"Shut up!"
"No you shut the fuck up!" Chris said as he walked near her.
"Both of you shut the fuck up." Karina said as she sat there staring at the air in front of her.
Karina sat there listening to them argue and as she sat there listening to them argue like children, tears fell from her eyes.
"Is he the one night stand that was so good? Hmm?" Karina asked as she looked at Jazmine. A tear fell from Jazmine's eye and she nodded. Karina put her elbow on the table and put her hand over her eyes, as if she was covering them.
Chris was the one night stand...This whole time Chris was the one night stand that was so good. Jazmine sat there and lied to her face every time they hung out.
"You sat in my suite...and in my house all those times and didn't say nothing?" Karina asked still holding her same position. She wanted to try so badly to be understanding but in all honesty, she felt played.
"I'm sorry Karina." Is all she said.
"Rin-" Chris said but Karina put her hand up, gesturing for him to stop talking.
"Both of y'all get out my house." She said sternly as she got out her seat and went to the door. "You niggas not moving quick enough I said get out!" She opened her door aggressively and Jazmine left not wanting to further piss her off.
"Kar-"
"Chris, get out...my house." Karina said as she stared at the space near her front door. She couldn't even bring herself to look at him.
"How you gon let her talk but when I'm trying to-"
"I don't want hear nothing you got to say. All I want to hear is your car crank up and leave my property. Matter of fact-" Karina left the door opened and tried to walk past Chris to go upstairs but he grabbed her. "Move!"
More tears fell from her eyes and she could feel her hands shaking. Karina was so angry with Chris and she knew tonight wasn't the night to be talking about anything. All she felt was rage and frustration, she knew that at any moment she would snap.
"I'm not going anywhere and you not either." Chris said as he slightly struggled to hold Karina. She was trying to push Chris away from her and move his hand from her arm.
"Let go!" She yelled but Chris was still holding her. He had managed to grab both of her arms but she was still using her legs to try and pull her body free. "Chris you're hurting me!"
"Stop fucking moving and it wouldn't hurt!"
"Karina is everything okay? Sadie heard yelling and got worried." Her elderly neighbor, Mr. Smith asked as he stood in her doorway. Karina stopped fighting against Chris, not wanting her neighbor to think anything was wrong.
