"Hey! Take a seat and I'll be with you in 15 minutes. You walked in at a perfect time." Karina said to a girl that just walked in. The girl smiled and nodded her head. Karina finished up with her current clients hair and then she left. "I'm ready for you."

"I've never been here before and I'm not sure how to go about getting an appointment. My coworker Regan told me about you." She said.

"I love Regan! She just started getting her hair done by me not too long ago. But you are fine. On Saturdays I do walk ins the whole day. What did you have in mind?" Karina gestured for her to sit down in her chair and she did.

"Well I just wanted a silk press because I'm going out of town tomorrow."

"Where you going?"

"Atlanta."

"Period, i'm from Atlanta." The girl looked at Karina in the mirror.

"What part?"

"I grew up in Sandy Springs, but my mom moved us to Old Fourth Ward when we were in high school."Karina's eyes widened.

"No way. I grew up in Old Fourth Ward too." The girl smiled at Karina.

"Really?! What high school?"'

"My brother and I went to Midtown."

"My mom put us in private school but I had friends that went to Midtown...do you know Javon?"

"Javon who?"

"Ummmm I think it's like Javon Perry." Karina gasped.

"Girl that's my brother's best friend!! How do you know JV?!" The girl turned to look at Karina in shock. She was smiling.

"Javon moved across the street from us and he was always at our house. Your brother name Keyvon?" Karina squinted her eyes at the girl, this was getting weird.

"Girl you stalking me?" The girl laughed.

"Oh my gosh no. Look I'm about to show you." The girl pulled out her phone and scrolled in her photos for a while. "See!" She handed Karina her phone and Karina was shocked. It was the girl, Keyvon, Javon, a boy around the same age as them, and another girl all smiling in front of a home.

"There's no way we are actually meeting right now." Karina said with a laugh.

"I have to call my brother and sister and tell them about this. It's been years since we've seen Javon or Keyvon."

"What's your name? I'm about to call Keyvon right now." Karina said as she grabbed her phone and went to facetime her brother.

"Jazmine. Jazmine Lin-Jones." Keyvon answered and asked him a series of questions regarding what the two ladies had talked about. Keyvon knew what she was talking about but couldn't remember the girls name. When Karina put Jazmine on the phone, Keyvon laughed and covered his mouth.

"Oh shit that's crazy. Wassup Jaz! How your mom and them?"

The two talked while Karina started her hair. After Keyvon hung up, the two talked about their childhood and other people they knew as well due to their older brothers both being popular. Jazmine and Karina laughed and talked the whole appointment and when Karina finished, Jazmine loved her hair.
