School is almost out and Karina is excited. During the summer, she's mainly at the suite doing hair and taking hair classes for new styles that are trending. On the other hand, Royalty wasn't excited at all. She wanted Karina to be her teacher forever.
"I won't see you anymore Ms.Wright." Royalty pouted.
"Yes you will. I'll still come see you at recess and also I still do your hair." Karina chuckled because Royalty didn't realize how special she was. She got to see her favorite teacher at school and outside of school.
"Yea...I guess you're right."
Karina and Royalty talked about this dang near every day. Especially at the end of the day because she knew Summer was coming up quick. But Karina continued to reassure her and get her mind off of school ending. Besides talking about school ending, Royalty did remind Karina everyday that Chris's birthday was coming up as well. Royalty would tell her things that she knew her dad liked and Karina would write them down so she wouldn't forget. However, Chris told Karina he wouldn't be in California for his birthday so Karina decided to just plan a day trip to Florida the Sunday he came back from wherever he was going.
Karina was at home on the couch talking to Damien, her stepdad and he was getting on her nerves.
"I'm just asking a simple question, Karina." Damien said. "Are y'all serious about each other?"
Karina had recently told her siblings and mom about her and Chris's relationship and now her stepdad was calling to grill her.
"Yes."
"You sure that's a good idea? I mean the nigga got three kids by three different women and not to make you uncomfortable but the nigga is known for-"
"Pleaseeeee stop. I don't want to hear that." She groaned.
"Don't cut me off when I'm talking...I'm just trying to look out for you. You need to know who you're dealing with."
"Oh and I'm guessing you know? D...Most of that stuff on the internet is fabricated."
"Why not all? Why isn't all that stuff fabricated?" Karina sighed. She was over this conversation.
"Listen...I appreciate you D I really do. And I know you're just looking out for me cause you love me but I'm about to 30 in a month. I don't have it all figured out but I do know that Chris isn't the bad guy they paint him out to be."
"I trust you and I won't pry about your relationship anymore. I know if that nigga hurt you you'll handle it." Karina chuckled at what he was referring to. She would never escape that fight she got into when she was 16 trying to protect Keyvon.
"Thank you. I love you."
"Love you too Rina." They hung up the phone and Karina groaned.
She was getting tired of all the he say she say about Chris. She still hasn't met or seen this terrible guy they talk about. Yes she knew about all the things Chris did in the past and she knew they were unacceptable, but she always felt that people could change and people didn't give Chris a chance.
She decided to get on her phone and scroll on Instagram. She had gained a lot of following on her hair page ever since the walk in posted those photos and that video of her. Of course people tried to follow her main page but she still had it private for the time being. She didn't want people stalking her, finding out who her family was, and other personal business. That was the only thing she had left. Every time her and Chris were outside together, it's like people were always watching and taking photos of them. She didn't understand how Chris lived like this.
As she scrolled on Instagram, she ran across this Team Breezy fan page that had posted photos of her and Chris at the beach. She smiled at the photo of her on his back and the photo of Chris taking pictures of her. She shook her head and screenshotted the photos.

6:25 pmChris❤️: 😂😂
Chris❤️: best photographer in Cali! let them niggas know
6:26 pmKarina laughed at his message and shook her head. Chris and Karina have been dating for two months now and she was really happy. Their friendship was still growing and getting better. At times she did find it weird that they were actually together because she never thought it would happen. I mean the first time they met he was an asshole but Karina being Karina she never held that against him. Karina went to her camera roll and saw all the pictures and videos of her and Chris and she smiled at them. The two of them were big kids in adult bodies and they did not care. They had the most fun with each other. They had their ups and downs but it didn't phase Karina. One of those downs was Karina finding out about his mental disorders. Chris never really opened up about them but Joyce did inform Karina of them. Karina never wanted to pry because whenever her and Chris were together, Chris seemed..."normal".
"He is the cutest." She said as she saw this video of Chris in her phone.
"I took Rina phone...she don't know it's missing yet. But I got to tell y'all a secret...Karina got a small ass head. Don't tell her I told y'all that. Bye." Karina laughed at the video and put it into her favorites folder.
"I love him."
