It was early afternoon and Karina was in Miami. She didn't have to meet with Victoria until 7 pm at a restaurant so she decided to go to her hotel and get some rest. As soon as she landed in Miami, her phone was going crazy with notifications.

Karina ignored everything. Not wanting to read or hear anything he had to say. She had to stay focused for this important opportunity she was offered and she wasn't going to let anything mess this up. Once she was at her hotel, she immediately went to the bed and laid down. Not caring to get her bonnet out. She was exhausted and needed to sleep.

At 5:45 pm, Karina woke up from her nap and quickly searched for something simple but cute to wear to her meeting with Victoria. She decided to wear a black tube top and a cute black shirt to match it. She left the hotel and a driver was waiting on her downstairs to take her to her destination. Miami was beautiful and she admired its features as they drove through the city. Karina had only been to Miami once during Undergrad but she never got the chance to come back. When she arrived, Victoria was already there waiting for her. Karina smiled.

"Heyy!" Karina said and Victoria smiled.

"Hey! You are so gorgeous." Victoria said. Her voice very soft.

"Thank youuu. But you are gorgeous yourself!" The two hugged and Karina sat across from her.

"How was your flight?"

"It was good."

"That's good. You ever been to Miami?"

"Girl it's been so long since I've been here. I visited during spring break when I was in college."

"Girl that's only what...5 years?" Karina blushed.

"Oh stop it. I turned 30 in May." Victoria's eyes widened.

"You look so young! What do you use on your skin?!"

"I keep it simple. The less product I use, the better my skin is to me. I will send you everything I use cause I don't remember it off the top of my head." Victoria smiled and nodded her head.

"So I know I didn't give much detail about why I asked you here but I'm so glad you came because I wanted to personally offer you a position to work with me for a music video I'm shooting in two months." Karina smiled brightly.

"Okay so what's the video, what's vibe, what's the project, what's the song?" Karina asked.

"This video is for my song Party Girls and it has Buju Banton on it."

"Okayyyy we're giving island gyal." Karina said and Victoria laughed.

"Exactly. We're going to Jamaica in two months to shoot the video and I was thinking two maybe three looks. Are you in?" Victoria smiled.

"Well...Can I have a week to think about it? I just want to talk with some people before I make my decision." The people being herself, her job, and Chris regardless if  they were speaking or not.
