The school day was over and Karina took the kids outside for carpool. All the kids left except Royalty. Karina realized a while ago that Chris purposely came later so he could get out the car and talk to her. So here she was with Royalty, eating chips and drinking a Caprisun.
"Ms.Wright?"
"Yes?"
"When is your birthday?"
"My birthday is May 28." Royalty gasped and looked at Karina.
"My birthday is May 27! I'm older than you!!" Karina laughed.
"If you're older than me then how bout you do my job for the rest of the year?" Royalty stared at her and shook her head.
"Never mind." Karina laughed as she saw Chris park in front of them. Chris got out and walked to the bench and sat down.
"What y'all laughing about?" He took a chip from Karina's bag and she smacked her lips.
"Ms.Wright birthday is after mine!" Royalty said.
"For real?" Karina nodded her head and she sipped her juice.
"That means i'm older than her daddy."
"Ro you 7...Ms.Wright wayyyy way WAY older than you." Karina pushed his arm and he laughed.
"I am not that old."
"Whatever. Go get in the car Ro. Let me talk to Ms.Wright."
"But we were talking first."
"Well she's my friend."
"We were friends before y'all were friends." Karina laughed because Royalty was technically right. Chris squinted his eyes at her and she ran to the car and got in.
"You seen that shit on the Shaderoom?"
"I have no clue as to what you are talking about." Karina said in a shocked and sarcastic way. Chris wasn't amused but Karina laughed. "Yea I saw it."
"Niggas can't even go to the Safari Park without people being weird."
"I mean you're a human being to the people who know you, but to others... the ones who don't really know you...they see THEE Chris Brown." Karina shrugged.
"It just gets annoying as hell."
"I bet."
"What you doing tonight?"
"Nothing at all. Why?"
"You want to do sum?"
"Sum like what?"
"Whatever you want to do." Karina thought for a moment and then smiled.
"Ouuuu let's go to the Griffith Observatory." Karina said excitedly but Chris made a stank face.
