Third Person's PoV

Three days had passed since the intimate dinner, and the cool breeze of Baguio embraced Kian and Sky as they strolled through the lush gardens of Burnham Park. The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting a golden hue over the landscape. Kian’s heart raced with a mixture of excitement and nerves. Today was the day he would ask Sky to be his forever.

As they walked, Kian’s mind replayed the moments that had led them here. He remembered the first time he saw Sky, her eyes as deep and captivating as the sea. He thought about the countless sunsets they had watched together, each one a silent promise of the next. Now, as they wandered through the City of Pines, he knew it was time to make a new promise, one that would last a lifetime.

Sky, ever the keen photographer, stopped to capture the beauty around them. Her camera clicked, and Kian watched her work, admiring the passion she poured into every shot. She was so much more than a photographer; she was an artist, a storyteller, and soon, he hoped, his fiancée.

“Sky,” Kian began, his voice barely above a whisper, “do you remember when we talked about the future, about dreams and possibilities?”

Sky turned to him, her smile soft and inviting. “Of course, I do,” she replied, her gaze locking with his. “Why do you ask?”

Kian took a deep breath, the ring in his pocket feeling heavier than ever. “Because I’ve been thinking about our future a lot lately,” he confessed, his eyes searching hers for understanding.

Sky’s expression turned curious, a hint of anticipation in her eyes. “And what have you concluded from all this thinking?” she teased, her laughter light and musical.

Kian couldn’t help but smile at her playful tone. “That I want you in it,” he said, his voice steady and sure. “In every part of it.”

They reached a secluded spot by the park’s lake, the water reflecting the colors of the sky. Kian took Sky’s hand, leading her to a bench where they could sit and watch the world go by.

“Sky,” Kian said, turning to face her, “you’ve brought so much light into my life. You’ve shown me what it means to love and be loved in return. I can’t imagine a day without you by my side.”

Sky’s eyes glistened, a mixture of joy and surprise dancing within them. “Kian, you’re making me emotional,” she said, her voice a soft whisper.

Kian reached into his pocket and pulled out the small velvet box. He opened it slowly, revealing the ring inside—a delicate band with a diamond that sparkled like the stars above them.
