CHAPTER 26: Falling

After the trial, she left me speechless. She was bragging here and there, at nakikipagtalo kay Athena na parang bata. So i decided to take her out to make things finished.

Well, natapos naman ito kaagad at kumalma na rin ito. And her family had a simple celebration they invited everyone kahit nga sila Ethan ay nakatanggap daw ng invitation.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit o kung para saan. Pero hindi ko na lamang kinuwestyon pa. Bumyahe na lamang kami habang ang asawa ko naman ay natutulog. Her pregancy didn't stop her to be sassy. But she's serious snd scary when she's working.

I can tell that. The moment she present and talk on the pre-trial, halos hindi ako makatingin sa kanya. This woman, is really unpredictable.

Yes, they're right. Her femininity makes it hard to believe that she's an undefeatable woman. But never watched her trials if you still want to look her in the eyes.

But as we left, she goes back to her old self. Maarte at maingay. And mostly, war-freak. But when she's with me, parang iba. O ako lang nakakaramdam noon?

She acted differently kapag ako ang kaharap niya. She was so different. She's just a woman that is in love with me. That's how i describe it.

“Baby, we're here.” bulong ko sa tainga nito at niyugyog ang balikat niya ng marahan. 

She groaned softly and opened her eyes. “We're here already?” gulat na tanong nito.

I nodded and smiled at her. “Oh? Okay.” she said.

Nang makalabas na kami ng kotse ay pumunta na kami sa venue. “Hi, Hija!!” Mom greeted.

My wife waved her hand to my mother and hugged her. “Tita! How are you?” she said still hugging her.

My mother giggled and caresses my wife's hair. “I'm totally fine! Eh ikaw?”

Tumingin si mama sa akin. “Kayo?” bumalik na ang tingin nito kay Samantha. Bumitaw sa yakap si Samantha at tsaka tinitigan si mama. “We're doing good,”

Naglakad ako palapit sa kanila at tsaka inakbayan ang aking asawa. She looked at me and chuckled. “Tara na po, Tita.” sabi ng asawa ko.

She was doing good, she was so true and her actions were so genuine, she was even having fun talking to them. And i saw my friends smiling, and grinning like a fucking retard.

“Ayern! Couple is here na pala!!” Sigaw ng kambal, mukhang ito ay si Vevory.

Nang makaupo kami ay lumapit si Vevory at Ivory ng nakangiti pa habang may dalang paper bag. “That's my gift, buntis ka daw! Ayan may slot na ako, ha? Ako ninang.”

“Tanga, ninang rin ako.” nag-abot ang isang kambal na mukhang si Ivory ng isa ring malaking paper bag.

She chuckled. “Ano 'to? One month pala naman, hindi ko pa alam kung babae ito o lalaki, eh, ano 'to?”

“Secret.” sabi ng kambal at tsaka umupo na sa bakanteng upuan.

I looked at her, “Let me,” I said and took the paper bag. Ibinaba ko ito sa sahig na nasa tabi ko lang.

“How's Sicily?” Her father asked. Sumubo ako ng pagkain at nakita ko ang pagbaba ni Samantha sa kubyertos. “The place is good as it is. They're right, it is really perfect for couples who wants to visit such place”

“Romantic for you, huh?” Nakangising tanong ni Raven.

Samantha sneered. “Wala ka lang madala kaya hindi mo maenjoy.”
