“Then, what should we do now? I really want to see, Savy. I wanna know, what can i do. I want to understand more about her illness.” I pleaded.

Jaxon smiled at me. Vevory sniffed and wiped the tears away on her eyes. “Oo nga, Jaxon. Can you call her psychiatrist?”

Habang si Alter naman ay nililigpit ang bubog na galing sa pagkakabasag ng baso. Arturo was having a second thoughts while wiping the floor dry at pinaupo si Destry sa kanyang pwesto.

Jaxon sighed and shook his head. “Gabi na, malamang sa malamang baka magagalit sa akin si Montener.”

“Aleck Montener? What's with him, now?” Takhang tanong ni Arturo at napatayo ng tuwid.

He threw the tissues on the garbage bin and walked towards Jaxon's direction.

“Aleck Montener? I heard he's engaged.” Ivory said and poured her goblet with wine.

“He's engaged to Doc Ravia. So technically, I can't call her if i do, he'll be here and kill me.”

“Magpapaliwanag ka lang naman, ah! Ano palang masama dun?” Vevory questioned in frustration.

River cleared her throat. Nagtinginan kami sa kanya at tsaka sinundan ang tinitingnan niya.

“I called her.” she said proudly.

Beside her is a fucking dangerous man, who's way older than me. 9 years older than me.

“Dok! Nandito ka na! Naabala ka siguro namin?” River greeted Ravia.

Ravia giggled. Nakahawak lang sa bewang nito si Aleck Montener.

“Is despedida party requires to be by pair?” Aleck asked and walked towards our table. Napansin niya siguro ang bilang.

“Not really, wala naman dito si Samantha, Mahal. So, there's a man with no partner here.” Ravia said and walked towards the table with River.

Ethan cleared his throat and was laughing because of Ravia said. “I'm not single, i'm married. Ikaw nga hiniwalayan bago lang. i didn't call you single.”

I saw Aleck smirked and sat on the couch at my side. “So, what do you want with Rav? It's literally 8 now” He asked me.

I gulped very hard and cleared my throat. “Well—”

“Mahal, tinatakot mo ang tao. Stop staring like that, You're being rude! It's about his wife, don't you even feel pity? Ikaw kaya ang magluksa sa asawa na akala mo patay na,”

“Oh, sorry.” he apologized and patted my shoulder.

“Zip that mouth!” sigaw ni Ravia at tsaka umupo sa tabi ni Aleck.

I never saw Montener like this. Bilang isa sa mga mataas at ngayon ay pumapangalawa sa ranko ng pinakamayamang tao dito sa pinas. He is really known for his notorious image, a psychopath man. Ruthless and Dangerous. One wrong move, and you get killed.

But right now, Ravia was just shouting at him. And everyone on the room was shock seeing it and witnessing Aleck Montener now.

He changed a lot.

Vevory walked towards her and even kneel on the floor to level herself to Ravia. “Can you tell us, h-how is she? Is she eating well? Hindi ba siya nagkakasakit? Hindi ba niya sinasaktan ang sarili niya? O-or—”

Hindi niya natapos ang sasabihin niya ng maiyak ito. I closed my eyes as tears starts falling from my eyes. Even me, i was affected by her questions. That's the first thing that comes into my mind.
