'Two blackholes,' Loki thinks, 'two separate blackholes brought me to this place.' He move his arms around uncomfortably, his wrists bound tightly in shackles.
"Tell me, boy, how did you end up back in my grasp?"
Loki glares up at him from his knees, unable to answer the purple giant due to the metal muzzle over his mouth.
Thanos kneels down to Loki's level and asks, "Did you find that your family did not want you?" Loki's mind fills with the moments of distrust that he'd experienced on Asgard the last couple days. "Did you come back after failing me on Earth to appease your own suffering?" Thanos reaches out his hand and grasps Loki's throat. "Is death what you desire?"
Loki's eyes go wide as the titan's grip around his throat tightens. 'No!' Loki's mind screams, 'No, no, no. What I may have wanted last time I drifted upon this planet is not what I want now!'
"Ah!" The titan quickly drop Loki and grabs his hand.
After heaving in breath after breath through his nostrils, Loki looks up to see shards of ice covering the purple giant's right hand. 'That's new.'
. . .
Thor wipes the tears that have streamed down his face and takes a steadying breath. He peers down at Loki's motionless body that has slowly turned a darker shade blue, then at his hands. They are red from trying to warm themselves back up from when he previously tried to pick Loki up. Even his sheer strength and his stubbornness cannot keep him from getting frostbite.
It is in this moment that Thor wishes Loki was not part Frost Giant. He has always cared for Loki, even after the first time he saw his skin turn blue, but not being able to touch him makes him wish Loki was fully Asgardian. Thor wishes he could scoop Loki into his arms and fly him to Stark or Banner, surely they would have it in them to help Loki even after all of the chaos he caused. Hel, what does he know? He does not truly know them, and even the people he trusts have turned their backs on him now.
Thor stands up and launches Mjolnir through the air. The sky darkens above him from his anger. Thunder roars and bright cracks of lightning shine in the near distance. As rain starts to fall Thor calls Mjolnir back to him and drops it to the ground. Not even his powers can help him now.
'Useless,' Thor thinks as he drops back down to be next to Loki, 'I am useless.'
. . .
Rain. Not a cloud in the dark sky and yet rain falls. Can rain even fall on a planet that has no atmosphere?
Loki tilts his head up and lets the rain hit his face. 'Thor.' He smiles against the metal muzzle.
"Does the rain bring you pleasure?" Thanos asks mockingly from where he sits on a throne made out of stone. He knows who Loki is thinking of. He has shifted through enough of Loki's memories in the past to know what joy the rain brings him. The purple giant had thought he had changed those memories enough to where the rain would bring Loki some sense of terror or worry, but he apparently did not alter them enough. "That feeling means nothing. He will not come for you. He will not safe you. You are nothing to him."
Loki's blueish-green eyes are fixated on Thanos. He tries to focus on what has happened between him and Thor over the past couple of days. Surely those days must show the truth more than his memories. The years of torment and hatred between them cannot be true.

His eyes cascade to the ground as the memory of them falling into the blackhole plays in his mind. His heart races. 'Was Thor going to say-'*WHAM* Loki falls back. Blood spills from his nose as he lays on his back, his arms uncomfortable beneath him. 'No, he wouldn't have said that.'
