{After the 1st Thor Movie}

*Nightmare of Loki's death*

Thor strikes Mjolnir down on the Bridge, which causes the whole bridge to shake. A crack appears where he struck.

"Stop! What are you doing?" Thor pays no mind to his brother and brings his hammer down on the bridge, making the crack bigger.

"If you destroy the Bridge, you'll never see her again!" That didn't phase Thor, Loki doesn't know how little he cares about that. Thor pays his brother no mind again. Out of anger and dismay of being ignored and seemingly hated, Loki grabs his father's Gungnir sword and goes to stab Thor in the back with it.

Oblivious to what Loki is about to do to him, Thor says; "Forgive me." Then, with the bit of strength he had left, he hit the bridge one last time with Mjolnir.

This last hit makes the Bifrost shatter and its energy explodes into the air, hurling both Loki and Thor into the air and towards a black hole that has formed under the shattered Bifrost.

Thor sees his brother is still holding onto the Gungnir and brags the other end, trying to pull his brother to him as they cascade through the air. If they are both going to die and be sucked in by the black hole, Thor wants Loki to know that he cares no matter what he is or what he has done.

Then Thor feels a strong grip on his leg, both he and Loki look to see who caught them. The Allfather stands at the broken edge of the bridge holding onto Thor with one arm. Thor looks back to Loki to find him still staring towards their father. Loki's eyes fill with regret and sadness and he lets go.

"No!" Thor yells as he reaches out for Loki with his free hand, tears forming in his eyes as he watches his brother fall to his death.

. . .

It had been like this for months. Thor would wake up in a cold sweat and sit straight up reaching out in front of him for Loki.

Thor never wanted any harm to come to his brother, not even after he learned the truth of what he was. Loki was as intelligent as they came and though quite small always had cunning ideas and was quick with sorcery that he learned from their mother.

Though Loki would never know it, he was the reason Thor is who he is. Thor is this rebellious and caring Asgardian because of his mischievous and sympathetic brother.

It was all Thor could think about. How much Loki would never know. How much Thor cared for him. How much he needed him to be by his side. How much he would be missed.

Thor stares up at the ceiling of his luxurious bedroom, thinking of his brother. Of his demise. Of his half-witted smile. Of his trickery. Of his dark green eyes. Of his raven black hair.

Though, his thoughts ceased when his mother opens his door with a slight knock. "Thor," her voice is weak like it has been for weeks, "may I come in?"

Thor immediately sits up once more and says; "Of course, mother."

His mother enters wearing her blue night robe and with her normally beautiful hair in a messy bun. Frigga moves across his room quickly with her arms crossed in front of her, to sit on the side of his bed.

Thor hadn't actually seen his mother since Loki fell. She had locked herself in her personal courters right after it happened. And now that he sees her he knows why.

"Mother-"

"I can still feel him, Thor." Her glassy eyes glance over at him. "He's not gone."

"He let go, mother... He fell," Thor's eyes cascade to the ground, "he's gone... Loki's gone."

She shifts quickly on the bed to face him. "Give me your hand." She holds out her hand that has the green jeweled ring that Loki gifted her on it. Thor just stares at the ring until his mother repeats herself. "Give me your hand, Thor. Please."

Her plea is what made Thor take her hand, but he didn't expect what came after.

Pain. Misery. Helplessness. Evil. All these feelings flooded through him. Then images started to flow through his mind. Only bits at first, but the longer Frigga held his hand the more clear they became. All they could see was Loki and feel what he was feeling. And just from that Thor knew he was alive.

Not sure how well this is going to go, but here's the first chapter. If you like it please let me know and I'll keep writing it.

P.S. The nightmare at the beginning is based on the original script, not the actual movie.
