{Liam's POV}

For some people, there is only one person that they ever love romantically. For others, they love more than one. I'm one of the others. I've loved more than one girl romantically over the duration of my life. Indie, Sophia, Leigh- Anne, and of course Danielle.

And if anyone were to ask me which one I knew was the one, well that would be simple. It's Danielle. And no, I'm not just saying that because she is the one that I am currently with. I'm saying that because she is the one I have always wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Danielle is the woman who I always saw in my future.

For a period of time I did see Leigh- Anne as the woman in my future, but now all I see is Danielle. For years all I have seen is Danielle. The one I really wanted to marry, the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, the one I wanted to marry.

Except, what is the point in marriage? I mean, I understand the whole deal with committing to someone and promising that you will love them in bad and good until you die, and all the obvious legal parts. But, can't you do that without actually signing legal papers and standing before God or whoever?

And I know Danielle agrees. We've been talking about marriage and whether we'd actually do it. I mean, we both agree that one day we might, but we don't really want to, not at the moment at least. I would've proposed a while ago if that was what we were going to do. But we're happy. And that's all that matters.

"This turned out better than I expected," Dani bounds over and gives me a bright smile, her witch hat sitting on top of her head, makeup done all dark and mysterious. I look around our lounge room that has no lights apart from glowing purple and red ones, fake bones, fake smoke, a cauldron, drapes to make it darker, fake gravestones, fake cobwebs, carved pumpkins and other creepy stuff.

Harry and I suggested that we hold a halloween party, just for fun, considering it isn't really sometime we do in England and it would be good fun for us. It's an adults and children party and it has turned out really well. I'm really pleased with how it's going and the costumes are incredible!

"Yeah, it did," I reply to Dani and she gives me a quizzical look. "What?" I ask.

"Why are you standing over here like a loner? What are you thinking about?" Dani asks.

"The whole marriage thing," I reply sheepishly and Dani laughs a little but nods her head in acceptance anyways.

"This is really stressing you," Dani laughs. "I thought we settled this months ago when we talked about it."

"It isn't stressing me," I retaliate.

"Yes it is Liam," Dani smirks. "And it's okay. It's better that we talk about it rather than ignore it."

"True," I agree. "It's just, I want to be able to commit to you in a different way. Not marriage, but not do nothing."

"Liam, we live together, we have a daughter, we love one another, I'd say that is already pretty committed," Dani reminds me.

"Yeah, and Zayn and Perrie got married, lived together, had three children and still something went terribly wrong."

"And that's why you're worried," Dani clicks and I nod my head. I've seen too much relationship crap happen in the past year that it is making me worry that something like this is going to happen to Danielle and I.

"It's just, Louis' marriage ended, Harry almost wrecked his and Jade's, Jesy's ended, , Niall's was strained, God knows what the bloody fuck is happening to Zayn and Perrie's," I sigh. "Leigh isn't married, and neither are we, and our relationships over the past year have been the best," I explain. "I just don't want to ruin that with marriage, but I also don't want to ruin it because we haven't made some sort of commitment."
