Just in case: Reception is the equivalent of Kinder/ Prep in Australia, but I'm not sure about the other countries sorry.... and I'm writing a lot of this from my memories of Kinder, so it's probably different in England than it is in Australia, but whatever- it's fiction. and sorry it's late!

{Jesy's POV}

Behind every person there is a story of why they are the way that they are. They aren't that way because they want to. Something in their past has made them that way, and sometimes it is impossible to fix them.

I'm someone who hasn't had a bad year. I've had bad things happen to me throughout the year, like a fight with my best friend, and my ass of a husband leaving- but my year has been okay. And I have a feeling that it's only going to get better.

The warmth of my cup of tea sends a tingling sensation down my throat as I take another sip and then cup the mug in my hands, allowing the heat to warm up my hands.

"Can I sit here?" I hear a familiar voice and look up to see greenish/ blue coloured eyes looking down at me and a cheeky smile, his face full of hope.

"Yes Jake, you can sit down," I reply with a hint of laughter in my voice. The Rixton singer sits down opposite me, holding a hot cup of coffee and smiling at me.

"Hey Jes," Jake greets me.

"Hello Jake," I reply. "How are you?"

"I'm great thanks! How about yourself?"

"Pretty average."

"How so?" Jake asks before taking a drink of his coffee. "Sorry! I don't mean to pry, just concerned," Jake covers up suddenly.

"Nah, it's okay," I respond. "Um, well, my husband ran off because he's a total ass," I tell Jake and then watch as the poor boy's eyes almost drop out of his head.

"Jordan did what?" Jake asks shocked.

"He apparently doesn't want a baby anymore and just got up and left," I tell Jake. I don't know why I'm telling him all this, but I trust him I guess. He's Jake. Couldn't hurt a bloody fly.

"Shit! That dickhead," Jake mutters, shaking his head. "What do you mean he doesn't want a baby?" Jake asks, drinking some more coffee.

"I'm pregnant," I tell Jake and his mouth drops open this time. I laugh at his reaction and Jake blushes. He has the funniest reactions to things.

"Well, congratulations!" Jake smiles. "That's great! How far along are you?"

Jake's taking this better than I thought. Most guys who get told stuff like that just get up and walk off. I know Jake is flirting with me, in his own awkward way. But it's sweet that he is also showing consideration. He's a good bloke.

"Um, I'm fourteen weeks, so don't go telling anybody!" I warn.

"My lips are sealed Jes," Jake draws a zip line across his lips and I smile at how sweet he is.

No Jesy. Stop. These are just your hormones making you get all flushed and making your heart rate go a thousand kilometres per hour. Jake is not that hot and adorable and caring and beautiful and... SHUT UP!

"Are you okay Jes?"Jake questions. "You look a little confused."

"Yeah! I'm fine," I reply to Jake, flashing him a smile and then looking out the window, almost hitting the ceiling when I see Louis and Zayn standing there, giving me a confused look.

I turn back to Jake to make sure he hasn't seen them and thankfully he is looking at his coffee.

"Go away!" I mouth out to Zayn and Louis, but instead the keep walking and straight into the entrance to the cafe. I'm going to shoot them. Are they serious?
