(22) Girlfriend

Yuri pov

I was feeling suffocated in my room. I needed some fresh air, a moment of peace, so I decided to go out to the garden. As I walked out of my room and started going downstairs, I heard laughter and chatting from a distance. Curious, I made my way to the living room, where I saw Mingyu and Wonwoo sitting with four unknown guys.

Mingyu noticed me immediately, and his glare made it clear he didn't want me there. Not wanting to cause any problems or draw unwanted attention, I decided to turn back and head to my room. Just as I was about to retreat, I bumped into someone.

Strong arms wrapped around my waist to steady me. I looked up and saw Jeonghan, his eyes softening as he looked down at me. " where are you going nae Sarang?" he asked, his voice gentle but laced with curiosity.His eyess showed fire that can burn anything.

"I...I was just going back to my room," I stammered, feeling flustered by the sudden contact and the intense atmosphere in the living room.

Jeonghan kept his arms around me, not letting go. "You don't have to go back so soon. Why don't you join me for a bit. I don't like the way you are behaving these days?" He said.

I was about to say something when we heard a voice from behind. "Jeonghan hyung? Is she your girlfriend?"

Another voice chimed in, "Girlfriend? Or maybe just one of the girls?"

Jeonghan looked at them, smirked, and said, "Yes, Jungkook, she's my girlfriend. And don't worry, Jackson, she's not one of the girls. She's my only one."

The guys started cheering, and then bambam said again, "Won't you let her meet us? Show us the girl who took our Jeonghan hyung's heart?"

I felt a wave of anxiety wash over me as all eyes turned towards me. Jeonghan's arm around my waist tightened slightly, a silent possession. He guided me closer to the group, his smirk never wavering.

"This is Yuri," Jeonghan said, his voice carrying a mix of pride and possessiveness.

Jackson extended a hand, his eyes twinkling with curiosity. "Nice to meet you, Yuri."

I forced a polite smile and shook his hand, feeling the weight of everyone's gaze on me. "Nice to meet you too," I managed to say, my voice steady despite the nerves.

Bambam leaned forward, a playful grin on his face. "So, you're the one who's been keeping Jeonghan hyung busy, huh? Must be something special about you."

Jeonghan chuckled, his hand still firmly around my waist. "She is special," he said, his eyes locking with mine.

I saw Mingyu and Wonwoo glaring at Jeonghan as if they could kill him at any moment. Jeonghan, in return, gave them a teasing grin and held me even closer. He led me to a seat and made me sit on his lap.

Everyone else was talking and laughing, while I felt tense and out of place. Just then, Jungkook  and  bambam started talking to me. Their friendly demeanor quickly put me at ease. Jungkook had a cute, bunny-like smile that made me want to squeeze his cheeks. He genuinely made me laugh, and for a moment, I felt really good And bambam was also very funny he was teasing mingyu a lot and Jackson was just talking to wonwoo while the fourth guy Eunwoo just kept taking glances at my side.
