Everyone was gathered around the long dining table, enjoying a rare moment as they shared a meal. Scoups had insisted on a group dinner, a second one this month, much to Jun's irritation.
Jun's eyes narrowed as he watched Yuri laughing and chatting with DK and Seungkwan, who were seated on either side of her. The sight of her easy laughter and bright smile seemed to grate on his nerves.
"Why are you always laughing?" Jun snapped, his voice cutting through the cheerful conversation. "Do you even realize where you are? This isn't some happy-go-lucky place where you can just giggle and pretend everything's fine."
The table fell silent, all eyes turning to Jun and Yuri. Yuri's smile faltered, and she looked down, her fingers nervously fidgeting with her napkin.
DK frowned, ready to defend her, but Yuri gently touched his arm, signaling him to let it go. She looked up at Jun, her expression composed despite the harshness of his words.
Jun wasn't finished. "You don't belong here. You're just a burden, a useless pawn we have to keep around. Laughing like an idiot won't change that.You should be scared of us."
"I'm sorry if my laughter bothers you," Yuri said quietly. "I just try to find moments of happiness wherever I can. It doesn't mean I don't understand the seriousness of my situation."

Jun scoffed, rolling his eyes. "You have no idea what you're talking about.You think you can just waltz in here and act like everything's normal? You're not needed here, Yuri. You're nothing but a distraction. If it were up to me, you'd be killed uptil now. Only if it wasn't to use you for - "
Before he could complete , Scoups, sitting at the head of the table, spoke up, his voice calm but firm. "Jun, that's enough."
Jun glared at Yuri and called her "Pathetic whore."
Yuri stood up, her legs trembling as she tried to hold back her tears. "You don't know anything about me, Jun," she said, her voice breaking. "I'm trying my best to fit in here, to understand this life. Do you have any idea how hard it is to wake up every day not knowing if you're going to be safe? To live with the constant fear that the people i am living with are mafias ?"
Jun's expression remained cold, his eyes hard and unyielding. "You think I care about your sob story? This isn't a place for your petty problems."
Yuri's tears spilled over, streaming down her cheeks. "I never asked for this! I didn't choose to be here, to be caught up in this nightmare. My parents sold me, i was about to get raped, and I'm terrified every single day. But I'm trying, Jun. I'm trying to find a way to survive in this world."
