Yuri woke up feeling much better, the medicine having done its job. She looked around but didn’t see Woozi anywhere. Just as she began to sit up, the door opened, and Jeonghan entered, his presence warm and calming.
"Sweetheart, my baby, my darling, my love... how are you feeling?" he asked softly, his voice filled with affection.
"Better," she replied quietly.
"Better?" He smiled, clearly relieved. Without another word, he scooped her up effortlessly, cradling her in his arms. "Today is going to be a long day, so let’s get you ready."
Jeonghan carried her to his room, gently laying her down on the soft bed. He moved to the closet, choosing a dress for her, his eyes full of thought as he carefully picked something he knew she’d love. Yuri watched curiously, feeling her cheeks warm at his attentiveness.
Once he had the outfit, Jeonghan came back to her, picking her up again and taking her into the bathroom. Inside, Yuri was surprised to see the tub already filled with warm water, rose petals floating gently on the surface. It was romantic and serene, a clear effort to make her feel relaxed.
Jeonghan set her down and smiled playfully. "I’ll give you a nice bath," he said, his voice teasing.
Yuri’s cheeks flushed red as she looked away shyly. "No need, I can do it myself."
"Oh, my baby is shy," he chuckled, leaning close to whisper in her ear. "Stop me if you don’t trust me."
His fingers gently began to undress her, and despite her initial embarrassment, she didn’t stop him. There was a calm trust between them, and soon, she was stepping into the warm water. Jeonghan knelt beside the tub, carefully shampooing her hair, his fingers massaging her scalp with tender care.
Jeonghan's touch was gentle, almost reverent, as he massaged Yuri’s scalp, his fingers working through her hair with care. The warm water eased her muscles, and she felt herself relax under his soothing touch. Despite the initial embarrassment, there was something comforting about how attentive he was, as if he was trying to wash away all the tension she had been carrying.
He murmured softly, his voice just above a whisper. "Today, it’s about you. Just let me take care of you."
Yuri’s eyes remained closed, but she could feel her heart softening. It wasn’t just the physical care—there was a sincerity in his actions that touched her deeply. She didn’t have the strength to protest anymore; the walls she had built were crumbling in the warmth of his tenderness.
As he finished washing her hair, he gently rinsed it, making sure not to let any soap get in her eyes.
He gently wrapped her hair in a towel, giving her a moment of privacy to change. As she stepped out, feeling refreshed and more like herself, he was waiting with a warm smile.
“Looking beautiful as always,” he said, his eyes sparkling with admiration.
Jeonghan took a towel and started to dry her hair carefully, his movements tender and deliberate. He then grabbed a comb and began to work through her damp hair, making sure there were no tangles. As he brushed, he talked softly, sharing stories and jokes to keep her at ease.
Once her hair was smooth, he began making it neatly, his hands moving with practiced ease. Yuri beamed, feeling grateful for his kindness and the way he made her feel special.
